David B: I have used sky caddy products for years, this is my third GPS, upgraded to the SX550. There are other GPS products available but I prefer, the sky caddy because of the screen size, resolution, and ability to use the touch screen to measure distances to hazards and trouble spots.

Frank Zych: I replaced my broken Garmin G6 with the Skycaddie SX400 with a case and charger. I like the size of the screen and the quality of the images. The GPS distances seem to be accurate and the battery life appears to be better than my Garmin. Uploading the scorecard via WIFI is really nice too. There's a lot of information you can have on the screen and there are different modes so there's plenty of data if you need it. The real power (if you want to analyze it) is on the Skygolf 360 site. If you keep track of your shots, the website shows every shot, where it went and the distance, plus the number of putts. So you can see where you're doing great and also where you need work. I spent some time understanding the options and set up the unit to my liking. However - - There are many things I don't particularly care for. For instance - - You first need to go into the "settings" menu to set everything up even the time zone (Shouldn't a GPS figure that out on it's own?) When getting ready to play you need to select a course where the Garmin would find the one you're on. The unit is rather large, thick and heavy so it's a little bulky in your pocket.
