Amazon Customer: I purchased this to hold a water bottle on my cross trainer as it did not have a water bottle holder.
The velcro straps have like a rubber backing on them so it really grips the frame when it is fastened down.
I can insert or remove my water bottle easily and the holder does not move at all.
One of the main reasons I purchased this Item was its ability to go up to 80mm diameter as the frame on my cross trainer is fairly big.
Really pleased with this purchase

Mister S: Wann braucht man diese Art des Flaschenhalters ? Wenn der Rahmen keine Befestigungslöcher für einen normalen Trinkflaschen Halter hat oder das Rahmendreieck zu klein ist, um dort einen Flaschenhalter samt Flasche zu befestigen...

Auch damit wird das kleine Rahmendreieck bei meinen Fullys in Rahmengröße S und M leider nicht größer, Flasche mit Halter passen nicht rein.
Ok, 2. Versuch, an die obere Rahmenstange , Flasche waagerecht vor den Sattel.
Denkfehler... Wenn man einen kleinen Rahmen benötigt, ist man nicht mit Größe gesegnet... Beim Anhalten hat man die Trinkflasche genau zwischen den Beinen und der Halter verschiebt sich zur Seite.
An der Seite geht's es auch nicht, da sind ja die Beine....
Letztendlich habe ich den Flaschenhalter an beiden Fullys seitlich an der Gabel befestigt, dort ist er stabil und mit etwas Strecken kommt man auch während der Fahrt an die Flasche. Bei echten Trail Fahrten muss der Halter halt wieder ab. Da er seitlich abstehend halt schnell irgendwo hängen bleiben könnte, dafür dann halt doch wieder ein kleiner Rucksack...mit Trinkblase.

Alternativ kann man den Halter auch mit langen Kabelbindern am Rahmen...

James MorrellJames Morrell: The large frames on electric bikes, particularly the ones that fold, don't lend themselves to a frame mount water bottle holder, which leaves only the handlebars to mount a water bottle. And with a phone mount installed, and all the other stuff that comes on the handlebars from the factory, that leaves just the handlebar stem available to easily mount a water bottle.

This water bottle holder mounts easily to the stem of my Jasion EB7 ST electric bike, also purchased from Amazon. The Velcro straps and the rubber on the mount hold the mount securely: it never moves when I remove and replace the water bottle. If you don't need the mount, say for a short ride, the mount removes and reinstalls quickly, and it can be removed easily if you need to fold the bike.

I highly recommend this water bottle mount for electric bikes. Add a Camelback insulated water bottle and you have the perfect combination.

Rich M: I have an electric bike that does not have the standard bottle mount that you see on most standard bicycles. So, I was looking for a way to attach a water bottle to the angled part of the bike frame that would also be removable if I need to detach the battery. I'm pleased to say this fits the bill.

Installation was very simple, just install it as tight as you can to prevent slipping. I've been using a 24 ounce Contigo cylindrical bottle. The holder keeps the bottle firmly in place and it's fairly easy to re-insert it. I suppose you could remove the bottle for a drink while riding, but it might not be easy to put it back on the fly, so I don't really recommend that.

As I mentioned before, the frame I've attached this mount to has an ebike battery, so it's larger than the average bike frame and the mount still fits without a problem.

The only minor issue I have is that a full bottle does occasionally shift during riding. It's easily moved back into place, even while riding and the movement is pretty minor with occasional small bumps. I imagine with a rougher terrain, this could be more of a problem. Yipee: I already have a metal bottle cage permanently attached to my bike, but I wanted to be able to carry an additional bottle for longer rides/hot weather. My bike is smaller and the only place for another bottle is the tube that I straddle over when standing over the bike. So far it fits pretty well and it held up on a 16 mile ride with no slipping or other issues. A few times I had to stop and stand to wait to cross a road, and as I got off the bike seat I sort of sat on the water bottle a little bit because of how close it is to my seat. So I hope that won’t cause the plastic cage to break over time. I’ll just have to be mindful of that, and it’s more to do with the way my bike is made and the limited place to mount it rather than the function of the bottle cage. One thing when I received this is the cardboard card it was attached to, along with the Velcro straps smell VERY strongly of fabric softener! It’s been a week and it has not went away. I don’t know if anyone else has this issue but I suspect the Amazon warehouse stored this in with a bunch of dryer sheets.

Timothy OeyTimothy Oey: We have a Hase Pino recumbent tandem with fat tubes and no holes for water bottle mounts. As bicycle tourists, water bottles you can reach to hydrate while biking are super important. The SKS Anywhere Water Bottle Mounts were perfect for our situation and now we can fit water bottle cages at 5 locations with fat and irregular tubes on this bike -- top of frame in front of rear captain, both sides of handle bars, and both sides of front fork. Excellent product! Since the strap were just a bit too thick near the disc brakes of the front fork mount, we substituted a hose clamp for one of the straps at the bottom location with extremely tight clearance so it cleared the disk brake rotor. Very happy with how light and strong the plastic is on these cages and that they cannot scratch our aluminum bike. Really like how easy they are to install, remove, and reposition as necessary. Way to go SKS on a great product!

BDRBDR: I bought this Topcage to replace a metal water bottle located behind my seat (which I could not reach). My recumbent trike has limited options for mounting accessories, so I was encouraged when I read the positive reviews for this product. I did not want to drill holes in my frame, and easy installation was exactly what I hoped!

I was not disappointed! I tried mounting the cage in multiple locations on my trike. Each installation and removal was super easy. The long Velcro straps allowed me to mount on different tube sizes with ease. The Velcro is strong and really holds well! The cage has not moved at all since I installed it - even riding over rough terrain.

I determined that the ultimate placement of the Topcage for me was on the front trike post near the pedals (see photos). I can reach the bottle while pedaling and returning it securely to the Topcage without any problem at all. I really like the cage design. It secures the bottle really well vs my original cage from which the bottle constantly wiggled loose regardless of adjustments. This SKS Topcage secures the bottle and nothing moves!
