Jacklantic: I bought this to hack apart some large thick cardboard tubing, and that worked well enough, but the side to side wobble is a little unnerving (it is VERY sharp). I know it's more my technique than anything, and it IS very portable, so I can't possibly give it any less than 4*. Did a good job

Kelly: It's bad to the bone. Small and lightweight with a lot of cutting power. I bought it as an experiment before buying a larger more expensive one and I love it. It will be a constant companion when hiking and camping. Definitely going to be adding the larger one to my tool shed.

Sean: Overall decent folding saw, after a full season of use it hasn't had any failures. Does seem to dull a little quicker than I'd like but that's what a file is for. Light weight and fits well in the hand. Only complaint is that it does tend to loosen overtime and with it not having any form of lock means it can freely open up. But for the money it has severed me quite well. Would recommend.

Una volta che hai imparato ad usarlo( taglia soltanto quando tiri verso di te), è meglio di una motosega, ma molto meno pericoloso , non rumoroso e non inquinante. Leggero ma solido. Il taglio molto preciso. Non adatto per legna o rami secchi. Esiste per questo una versione con più denti.

PariPari: I am a backpacker and needed a lightweight saw for doing my camping chores. I did some research and found this one here. I bought the rough toothing saw (red handle) first to see if I like the Japanese style pulling mechanism, here on Amazon. Furthermore, I was quite impressed, therefore I bought the fine toothing saw (yellow handle) as well on Amazon.
But first things first: What are my criteria for a saw? It has to be small, lightweight and portable. It has to have an automatic locking system, which is safe to use and keeps the blade in place. Nothing should rattle.

My first impressions: it is decent sized and the grip is comfortable to hold. Nevertheless, One could be forgiven for thinking that the handle looks cheap. But this is only a haptic experience. The latching looks substantial. It didn't give the impression that it could eventually become a safety problem. The blade itself is 180 mm long, which is a decent size to cut through small to mid-sized wood. It gave me smooth and clean cuts. I also tested wood which was 100 mm in diameter. There were no problems.

Field Test: the saw has a very good grip indeed. Even if it's wet, your hand doesn't slip off it....
