Elio: My cat is a messy eater and likes to pull food out of his bowl and eat it on the floor, it doesn’t matter how shallow the bowl, big or small. This mat works perfectly for him and me. My only annoyance is that it discolours where his food bowl and water sit, it’s a lighter grey. You won’t notice the colour until you’re washing the mat or at least I didn’t. This is easy to clean even if he drops wet food on the mat, it catches all of his crumbs and keeps most of his food off of the carpet. Would recommend, keeping food and water closer to centre and away from edge a little helps keep mess from going off the mat.

Haley: I'm really impressed with this mat. With one dog and 3 cats We needed something to help collect the random pieces of ru away hard food, which can be aggravating because it goes every all around the kitchen floor. This mat does the trick for sure, Its hard to believe it contains pretty much all of the fly away food bits, which is nice I don't have to get the broom out thru out the day and sweep it up. Also with my 3yr old chasing or running around we'll have some water bowl spills, there's only been a small spill so far with the mat and I can say it was super easy clean up, no mop or paper towels! The mat kept it in a small puddle so all I had to do was clean and rinse off, also drys quickly. I love the way it looks also, it just brings the appearance of the food area together. It's a great size for for and water bowl, I added the dog bowl to but to make it easier going to order another mat just for the dogs food and his own water bowl. The only disappointment was I did not receive the free seatbelt leash, which is fine, I definitely got a great deal for this mat!
