Margaret D.: I bought this vacuum hoping it would do well for my floors. It is great. The suction on my carpet was superb. It also did fine in my hard surface floors. The ease of use and the swivel action were what I liked the best. I didn’t have to lug it to turn its direction. The dirt cup is very easy to remove and dump. I’m so glad that I purchased this item.

profile: Bought this to replace a 14yr(?) old SV Navigator where the switch had gone bad. Held together with bungee cords & duct tape, my old one was still better than 3 cheap vacuums I tried (and I managed to get the old one working again after the new one arrived lol). The new one is essentially the exact same as the old model, but blue instead of purple. Great product though, good suction, lightweight, pet hair friendly roller, dust filters, and everything decouples easily for spot cleaning or disassembly. After reading some of the reviews for refurbs on here I had some second thoughts and even bought the warranty, but other than very minor, minor scuffs on the front there wasn't even a speck of dust on, or in it. Am sure that your experience may differ depending on the refurb part, but kudos to whomever took care of mine.

Lisa Carlson: ok .. to start.. I read the description as it having the accessory tools, not realizing it doesn't have the holder to keep them on the vac. Pretty sure they were misplaced within 24hrs. Will have to jerry rig a holder. Would have appreciated knowing it wasnt included. That being said.. the suction is OK .. not sure if it is strong as the Miele its replacing .. BUT it has one clear advantage over its predecessor. Its NOT a BEAST to use. Its light weight, pretty easy to operate. (detaching the hose to use separately etc) I can carry it in one hand and wield the hose in another. Being lightweight, I am able to carry it up/down stairs with ease. I realize I was dreading using the Miele, but when the plastic outer body disintegrated on me, hubs insisted I get something else... and boy he was right. This is far easier to use.

Lisa Butler: I got this as a secondary vacuum for quick jobs instead of dragging out our big Rainbow vacuum. Of course it doesn't have the suction of the Rainbow, but it does a very good job.

It doesn't do a great job of picking up larger pieces dry cat food that my cat drops all over the place (pea sized maybe?) I like that it's easy to switch from bare floor to carpet. I do have to vent it when vacuuming carpet or it sucks right to the carpet/rug. It gets crumbs right up against the wall pretty well.

As expected it didn't come in the original box but was packaged very well. Everything is in great condition, don't see any signs of wear. Only problem is it didn't come with the accessory holder, which I now see isn't listed in the included items. Not a problem really, I just keep them in a basket in the closet.
