Get the job done quickly and efficiently with this powerful vacuum.Weezie CanadaWeezie Canada: I have owned a shark vacuum for over 20 years. Our first vacuum when we got married was a Shark. I have always loved my Shark vacuums. About 8 years ago I thought about buying a Dyson or some other brand and did all the research and decides to stick with the Shark. I bought the first duo clean. Most expensive vacuum I had ever bought. Loved it! The vacuum head broke and Shark replaced it. About a year ago the head broke again in the back. It would not stand up or lock in place. We finally had to replace it. I bought my first refurbished vacuum. This vacuum the Shark Apex Duo. It arrived with some scratches and scuffs. No big deal, it vacuumed beautifully and would have eventually been scuffed anyway. I purchased this in April. I am vacuuming July and realize the front brush roll is not turning. Apparently the belt for this brush roll came off track and melted through the side of the vacuum wall! I submitted for a return/replacement. I received a return label stating I could return the item for a refund but I have to pay return shipping. Not happening. I messaged the seller and the only response I get is damaged is not covered under their guarantee and I am not...

Gina Christopherson:
I am a fan of Shark. Period. I have owned two previous Sharks- one at home and one at work. At home we had a great 8 year relationship with our Navigator Deluxe and at work we are on year two with a Navigator Pet. Our Navigator Deluxe ceased working as it has had a rigorous life with 5 kids, 3 dogs, and 2 cats. So, after great debate and reading reviews, took a chance on our new-to-us renewed Apex AZ1002. I knew there was a risk involved in the renewed part, so we are going to see how this is working in a month or two and update this review as needed. For now here's what we discovered.
I chose the Apex for its dual brush roll and ability to suck up fine dust. And, after its first vacuuming, I have to say that it does a phenomenal job of doing that! I vacuumed my office with the office Pet vac yesterday. Left for the evening and this morning my shipment showed up. I popped my vac together in about three minutes and we were off to the races. It immediately filled up with the fine dust the Pet vac had missed. The floors look and feel cleaner than they have been in the recent past.
I love the extra long cord, the ability to shift between floor...

I am far from a vacuum expert, this is the first one I've ever bought, but of course I've used a handful before including nice Dysons that my parents had bought.
So first off, it was "renewed" from the Amazing Dealz store which was a bit cheaper than Amazon's store. You should always know there's a bit of risk ordering a renewed/refurbished item, especially from a non-amazon store (even Amazon warehouse has a lot of issues), so be ready to deal with returning it once or twice. That said, I was super pleased when I opened the box and my vacuum looked brand new, only the rubberized grips on the main handle were slightly sticky. The HEPA filters, brushrolls, etc. were all new, it came with all 3 normally included attachments(although the motorized pet brush is just air powered), and as far as I can tell everything is authentic. The renewed risk paid off for me.
As far as the vacuum goes, I am very happy with it. I have a German Shepherd that is in full on summer coat blow out now, so there is a lot of fur to vacuum out of my carpets. This thing pulls all of it right out, after filling the container twice (didn't take long) I checked the rolls and...

David L: I love this vacuum cleaner it’s the best vacuum cleaner I’ve ever owned. Super easy to disengage the hand wand, or the extended wand, or to take the canister off of the floor broom. Having the light on the end of the wand is great for finding cobwebs and other things as your vacuuming out corners, the suction remains strong, even when the canister is nearing capacity, the canister disengages quickly and is easy to empty . the floor roller pops out quickly and is easy to clean and get tangled hair and string and other things out of it. It’s also light and has easy carrying handle on the top of the canister. When the canister is disconnected from the floor broom, you can fit it under furniture very easily. It also is very maneuverable. I highly recommend this vacuum cleaner to everyone.
