Got this for my partner as a serving board that could double up for parties. The engraving was nice and the product came well wrapped so nothing was damaged. The drawers slide smoothly and can be completely removed, which is what I did so that the board would be easier to carry and use as a serving board or tray. I’ll add them back if we use this for a party. I haven’t tried oiling it but the board feels pretty smooth already, so might be fine. Only slight concern is that food could get stuck in the engraving so might need to have a powerful spray or gentle bristles to scrape out anything that cakes into the engraving.

I was worried about engraving mine. Very glad I did it, though. Looks great, even as a custom design. I gave it as a gift to my gf and she loved it. I was thoroughly impressed as well. The box is VERY nice, and it comes in a gift bag - even if you don't purchase the gift bag! So don't buy that...Waste. But the packaging was absolutely beautiful. The wood is high quality and the images are pretty accurate as far as color. I would definitely recommend it, especially getting SOMETHING engraved in it. I feel like the top would look very plain if there wasn't anything engraved. Expensive, but worth it

I'm so disappointed at this product quality. The finishing isn't good. It has lots of details. I am not recommending this product at all. I'm glad I opened it before giving it as a house warming gift. Wish I could returning and get a refund. A $100 cheese board that looks like this? Not happy at all.
