ProfW: I thought I could leave these outside on a patio table. There was NO remote control in the package. The wiring quickly rusted. And while they still "work," it's a matter of screwing out the bottom and constantly replacing batteries.

Sheila T.: I use these candles to have some lighting in the house since I don't get home until after dark. I have 1 in a lantern outside next to the front door, 1 in the entry way and 1 in the bedroom. No dark house when I open the door. My dog appreciates the light also
The timer is perfect! 6 hours on and 18 off. I have a different set that requires me setting the timer every day. I set this timer once and it turns on and off as expected every day.
The candles have a nice warm glow. I wish they had an option to make them a little brighter. Other than that, I love them.
