SENTRY Pet Care Fiproguard: Protect Your Dog from Fleas and Ticks

Nikki: I put this on my mini dachshund on September 28th, followed all instructions, waited two days even before bathing him, and last night I went to give him a bath (Oct the 5th) and there were live fleas on my puppy. He is only 12 weeks old and a mini so I had to wait to put topical treatments on him. But after that many days after and between treatment there should not be fleas. He also did not have fleas when I got him but as a preventative I used a flea collar until safe to use topical for his age and weight. Obviously neither worked as he had apparently picked up fleas when in the yard. This was a waste of money. It doesn’t kill or prevent fleas.

Jesse: The media could not be loaded.  The product works great and you can't beat the price. I find the treatments last strong all month. I just applied my second treatment and happy to say I have not had to deal with checking him for ticks every trip out since I applied his first treatment. This is a great product. Other things are far more expensive, I dont have experience with those but I find this works great, drys fast, and doesnt leave a greasy streak as long as other products.

Brenda: 6 months worth for $20? Yes! It has fiprinil & is for dog up to 88 pounds. It works very well, and better than all the others I have tried! I use this brand on my cats too. We don't have much of a flea problem but ugh! The TICKS are terrible! Lots of deer bring lots of ticks! And they are so GROSS & DANGEROUS! But this squeeze on monthly preparation does a great job on my pets in Pittsburgh area in Pennsylvania(which is TICK COUNTRY USA!!!)& a MUST HAVE for ALL pet owners! The price makes it an AFFORDABLE & EFFECTIVE flea&tick product for everyone to protect your pets AND YOU from those NASTY FLEA & TICKS! If on a budget like I am, this is a great product that works but won't break the bank!

A. Nicole N.: I bought this along with K-9 Advantiix II and this cheaper, less well known brand actually lasted a month while I found a few fleas after the two week mark of applying Advantiix. It's extremely hard finding a good and lasting flea, tick, and mosquito protection for my dogs. Capstar worked immediately but is only made for that. I does not work for longer than 2-3 days. So it's honestly a complete waste of money unless you can afford to waste like that. But probably not an option for owner with multiple dogs.
I've run the gamut of natural remedies and they fail miserably while making my dogs smell like some old shoe water juice or something. Very pleased I found an affordable and effective treatment.
