Rox: I have had five conference phones in the past few years. This one has clear sound, on both ends of the call. I wish it had a higher volume level, as some people who talk softly or are far from their mike make it harder to hear them. That's why it gets 4 stars for sound quality.

This is a good unit for the money.

Obelix: Entgegen der Beschreibung erhält man ein Gerät, auf dem nicht Sennheiser steht, sondern EPOS. Es sieht aber so ähnlich aus wie ein Sennheiser SP-20 und funktioniert scheinbar genauso. In Windows meldet sich das Ding als "Freisprechtelefon mit Echoausschaltung (EPOS EXPAND 20)". Die Tasten (auch die in der Mitte) scheinen gut zu funktionieren. Das Ganze wirkt hochwertig und wir behalten es. Für die irreführende Beschreibung des Artikels und das falsche Bild gibt es einen Stern Abzug.

J Tang: Everything about the product is as expected. Do the research, make sure it is what you need it for.
Only thing I was not happy about which is why one star was docked from the review is that the product delivered is not Sennheiser branded -- it is branded as "Epos".

I researched the brand name and understand that they were related to Sennheiser and more of "gaming division/branch" of the company, but the photo clearly shows the product with a sennheiser logo. Either the photos should be fixed in the listing or identified in the product description. However, if you do a search on this page, you'll find no mention of this brand name at all on the page.

Rrrrrrrrrr: I bought this about a month before the lockdown, which was a result, as now that we are working from home, it is constantly in use, and has worked brilliantly. Sound quality is really good, and is a breeze to use.

Trying to work with on skype using headphones or the speaker/mic in my laptop before has nearly always resulted in someone on the call making a comment about the sound quality from my end. Since using this Not one single comment has been made.

Also love that it comes with both a USB and a normal headphone plug. Means I can plug into my mobile and use as a speaker phone if i am going to be on a long call, as using mobile speaker phone is not always great.

And....I can use it as just a good old speaker to play music when connected to my phone too.

Would certainly recommend.

J. Weir: I initially purchased one because I am working from home and I was spending too much time on conference calls with a phone wedged between my ear and shoulder for hours every day, slowly turning myself into a quadriplegic with neck pain and headaches. I tried several of the cheaper units and promptly processed a return for all of them thanks to horrible audio, echo issues and crummy mic sound quality ("you sound like you're talking into a can"). I tried the computer audio and mic but it was so bad that no one could understand me and I couldn't understand half of the people who were talking either. I purchased this unit on a whim. I love my Sennheiser head phones and these speaker phones are equally good quality. Everyone is easy to understand, mute is clearly highlighted with red lights when it is on and no one has had to ask me to repeat myself since I started using it.

Well, then my wife started working from home thanks to COVID and I let her use it for one of her meetings and we spent the next week handing it back-and-forth and scheduling time with it. The first meeting conflict hit and I'm sure you can guess who ended up with the phone back against their face again. So,...

C. McMillan: I was hoping this would be sufficient to handle a room of about a dozen people in a conference call without people having to strain to listen or shout to be heard. It is adequate for this purpose, but just adequate. It's not like a 'real' conference phone in a corporate office. The speaker is small and it sounds small.
It's not bad but not great. I would recommend it to someone that wants to use it for small conferences with people sitting around a a 4' round conference table. I wish there was a bigger version; like almost twice the size. It's about the size of a stack of 4 teacup saucers. It's small.

Playing music through it is ok, nothing special at all. It sounds good for its intended purpose; conference calls. It just doesn't sound unexpectedly great.

I like that it just plugs in and works with my iPhone 6. No bluetooth is a plus for me. You can easily mute/change volume and make calls from the buttons on the top. I bought my in 'used but great' condition here and the + button doesn't work like the - button for volume... it's missing the 'click' when you push it. A mild bummer. But it works.

I wish this category of equipment was rated by size of call......
