Segway Ninebot E22 Electric Kick Scooter - Get Where You're Going Faster!

Memo: Hi my scooter is new, I’ve connected it to Bluetooth and activated it. However when I ride it the red wrench symbol flashes. It seems to be riding fine… there is no beeping just the symbol flashing. Does anyone know what this means or why? I’ve done a factory reset and the issue persists.

Brian Singer: Easy to fold up, easy to charge up, Blue tooth thing is really cool. I just took it for a spin and it was so much fun. I bought it for my son who won't be able to use my car during the day so this will be his local transportation. It is smooth in its operation, handle bar grips are great and I love that the kick board has enough space for my two size 11 feet to line up one behind the other. If you can get this on sale, then don't miss out, even it it isn't on sale, highly recommend this brand.

ZDZD: In the beginning, I bought another brand but it was too heavy. The E22 is a lightweight scooter for the metro. I don't really care much about the battery, because I just need to ride around 2km. Really an elegant design scooter!

Satisfied Customer: This actually might be my second review, but I have used this scooter for a while. I really deserves a review with the good and the not so good. The good first. Lightweight, folds easily, fits in the back or trunk of almost any car, has a headlight and side red lights, charges in a few hours, solid rubber tires mean no flats, display easy to read, wide foot platform for a small scooter. Nicely built and solid. The not so good. The app is not very user friendly, scooter struggles on hills, battery life is not very good and the add on battery is expensive, rough ride from the solid tires and no suspension. Conclusion. Let's face it, this is not a $1500 scooter (or more). It is really not designed for rigorous commuting more than a mile or two each way on pretty flat ground. After maximizing on the App., the top speed is 20 MPH on flat or downhill. The compromises in power, battery life, ride come with the lower price tag. When you get the App working. I highly recommend you activate maximum performance. Also, out of the box the scooter must be going 3 to 5 MPH for the power to kick in. Highly recommend you change this to zero or .5 MPH using the App. I would think everyone would...

William A.: The scooter was very simple to put together. One electrical connection and six screws. Once it's together, it folds/unfolds very easily, as well. At just under 30lbs, I find it it's pretty easy to carry up/down a flight of stairs one handed. Charging time is accurate, about 3.5 hours to full charge. Getting it started is as easy pressing the power button, giving it a kick, and hitting the throttle.

I'm 6'2" tall / 195lbs with a size 12 shoe and the handlebars and deck are tall/wide enough to ride comfortably. The 9" tires are big enough at you don't have to worry about wiping out on every small bump in the road or sidewalk, though you'll definitely want to slow down on bumpy terrain. The top speed of about 12.5mph is easily reached in standard mode (the middle of the three performance modes available). It slows down a bit during inclines, but I haven't had to get off and walk it up a hill yet.

If 12.5mph seems slow to you, especially compared to some of the more expensive electric scooters out there, trust me when I say that unless you're riding on perfectly level terrain you are not going to be safe going much faster! The lack of any kind of suspension means that...
