Daniel M. Brown: There's nothing technically wrong with the product. I was just surprised to realize how small the mouth is. If you're thinking this will latch onto a variety of objects, you're wrong. Think "fairly small branch".

Jeremy Henry: Easy to use and holds my 12' aluminum boat in tide current. So much easier than tying off a rope. Also works great for tying off to the dock when loading and unloading. Would recommend!!!! It isn't the toughest built but what do you expect for the price. It is worth every cent of what I paid. The supplied rope is more than sufficient for its intended use. If you need it longer grab a roll of paracord and make it as long as needed.

Bill: I’ve had one of these on a previous boat and loved it. Had to get another for my current boat. This thing is perfect for river fishing or duck hunting. Simple squeeze and let go on the branch you want. Holds tighter when the current pulls on it a little. Easy to release as well.
