子供が寝る時間になってもしぶとく遊んでいるので、10時には回収して金庫保管でしてます。
以前は毎回かくしていたのですが、子供が隠し場所をさがすようになり、余計に時間をロスすることになった。金庫に入れるとさすがに観念するので、サイズはちょっと大きいが効果は絶大。ただ、毎回、毎日しまうのがめんどうになってきた今日このごろ。。

Justin D: It’s a safe. It locks and unlocks as expected. I pity the person who loses the key and the batteries die as it’s a double sided center cut key I imagine would be hard to pick. I bought it to replace a safe I had for the past 10 years and this is less expensive and seems to be of the same quality.

You have the ability to enter any code you want, and it comes with keys, so it’s easy for the owner to access.

There’s a lot more storage than you think. I was able to fit by S&W 40, 100 rounds of ammo, an envelope of cash I keep for poker, some important papers, collectible coins, and a wedding ring in a box in there.

The locking mechanism has been fully functional and I haven’t had any issues with it. It never jams, or opens too easily. It does exactly what it’s supposed to do: open quickly when you need it to, and keep people out of it.

For the price, I’d say this is a pretty high quality safe! Go ahead and just add it to your cart!

kemckins: Bought this to ward off any sticky fingers that may pass through. I'd say it's fairly priced for what it is. We would like to switch to a sturdier, more static solution once we move into a house though. Unless you bolt this to the floor or wall, it's really kind of a thief's suitcase, something someone could easily walk off with if they break in while you're out. We mostly bought it for the piece of mind it will provide while we're home, entertaining guests and preoccupied with other things. The keypad works well. The only features I don't necessarily like are the plastic components on the front; they seem rather flimsy. However, for the price point, I'd say it's appropriate. Good enough for our current needs. Heads up: you will need 4 AA batteries which are not included.

Lucas PastuszkaLucas Pastuszka: I really like the safe. Not high security by any means, but a great box to keep something out of sight and prevent opportunistic theft.

HOWEVER, the safe has very loud beeps each time you push the key pad. It is annoying and everyone in the house will hear you opening the safe. Not stealthy... I took off one star from the review because there is no way to mute the sound. I did find a permanent solution for those who MUST HAVE SILENCE.

If you want to mute/ silence the safe permanently do the following:

1. Open the safe and locate the black cover/panel on the back of the door with the batteries. There are two Philips screws to unscrew (one next to the battery compartment, and one on the side by the two metal bolts that come out). Unscrew both screws and the black cover/panel will come completely off.

2. You will see a beige panel with wires coming from it. On the lower right corner or so, there will be a protruding black cylinder module sticking out. This black cylinder is the beep generator. Take something thin, like a pocket knife edge (careful, knives are sharp), and wedge it behind the cylinder. Gently pry it out towards you. The black cylinder noise...
