I went to Homedepot to look for one of these but all they had were mediocre ones. This was very easy to install. As a caution, the screws were a bit on the flimsy side as I stripped two of the screws. I had to pre-drill the holes before they could be easily screwed in without any issues. Very beautiful that blends in well

I brought this to use for my little laundry door that lead to my master closet. The problem I faced is that the door comes with a ball catch, so I am unable to lock it. Kids can easily open and claw in which would be a problem when I Need privacy. The latch lock actually comes with clear instruction with pictures on how to install. I thought it was pretty self explanatory, but the instruction was a nice touch. Unfortunately I am unable to use it for my door, due to the door not sitting flush with the wall i am trying to latch it to. As shown in the picture, having door trims prevent me from using it. I end up giving it to my dad who is using it for something else. Overall it is pretty sturdy, even thought it's thinner than I thought.

What I needed for my attic door. Toddler life in this house. It's held up to them trying to yank the door open pretty much twice a day, so...effective. Obviously use longer screws for a stronger latch. The shorter screws will pop it right out of the wood with a strong adult pull.
