Ldybulldogs17Ldybulldogs17: It hasn’t been 24 hrs yet but I’m eager to see how this turns out. I read the other reviews about lack of stability, and used bigger/longer nails to drill into the stud. YouTube was great with additional steps. Only gave 4 stars b/c it hasn’t been long.

Cornelius Suttree: Comes with only 3 short screws for 4 holes - but I got better ones anyhow.
Comes with 3 larger washers and 2 smaller washers - you need 2 but it doesn't tell which to use.
Upper 2 lateral holes need wall anchors, but instead I just mounted a length of double 1" x 6" pine boards to studs and then upper and lower center holes can hit stud and lateral holes go into the pine boards. Better and probably easier since the anchors looked iffy.
Directions absent so I had to look online. Directions very sketchy (such as what do you do with different size washers). Also says use "Allen wrench" to mount bolts to stabilize hanger under rod. Would be helpful if they said "3 mm Allen wrench" - only 3 more characters. I had a hard time finding that one.

j-keenan: Very high quality welded, powder coated aluminum and stainless hardware construction. Will hang most any size and weight full “diamond” frame bike. 4 stars as it wouldn’t hang my two bikes perfectly level.

Slyman: Unfortunately, even at its smallest size, it was too far from the wall for my garage. Customer service was great and they were kind enough to take back the package.

M. ButlerM. Butler: Great bike hanger. I opted to follow other's advice, and mount this to a 18" piece of wood, then mount it to two studs. I used 1/4" nuts and bolts to mount the hanger to the wood, then 2x 3" GRK fasteners to mount the wood to the studs in my garage.
This worked perfectly. I'm sure this could hold my weight, which is more than enough to hold a ~25lbs bicycle on a 6" arm.
Some bash this because this does not come with hardware to mount to drywall (only masonry or concrete, as it does state in the description). However, the description also has pictures that state that you can use this to put your bike in any room in your house. This is misleading for those of us that do not dwell in fallout shelters. Although I read the reviews, and knew going in that I would have to purchase additional hardware to use this correctly, I wish the description and marketing were more clear about this. For this, I am docking one star.
Also, the velcro strap is rather a strip. No ring to loop around, making usage a bit more time consuming. The pictures show a strap with a plastic loop, which I did not receive. I won't dock a star for this, but I'm disappointed.
