JimL:
It takes so much longer to cook than our previous 3.5Q air fryer. It also does not cook evenly. I do like that you can split the basket.
Had to trash it as it kept blowing a fuse.

SMo: It took a few times to get this right. At the beginning the food tasted like Teflon. It’s OK now but I am surprised at how much oil is required for it to taste fried. I thought an air fryer meant very little oil.

Tinkererguy: So first, I've bought & gave away several air fryers, and used them a lot. They crisp better than a convection oven, due to their high velocity air. I had a bigger version, like a mini-oven, and wasn't as good at crisping for me, mainly due to lower watts per cubic inch, and lower, air velocity, compared to "traditional" air fryers. I've had three digital models of air fryers, and although they work well, you'll almost always tweak the default settings, depending on how big the "things" are, how many, and their temperature when going into the air fryer. I found I was pressing more icons for the same settings, than just the two knobs for time/temp. The Secura (and Phillips to name a couple) both have a simple time/temp setting, and I copied a "cheat sheet" printed from one of the numerous sites that helps me set it close to the "perfect" settings. Then if I do the exact same recipe (and weight), then it can be set the same, or handwrite the setting I liked best for a particular meal. For me, just setting two dials is faster. Size: Unless you live in a trailer or tiny-home, a few square inches of space difference between the large model and the little ones,...

AftrBrnr:
Update from almost three years of ownership:
This air fryer is still running strong with continuous moderate use.
-----
Update from a year and a half of ownership:
I still use this air fryer at least weekly 2+ times per week or more this past year with many more meals at home including lunches.
I remain sold on air fryers in general (wings, pork tenderloin, fries, mini frozen pizzas, tater tots, steaks and more!) and on this fryer in particular (still working beautifully since Aug 2019).
I still love it and still recommend it!
Original Review:
I'll chime in with the numerous reviews about convenience, flavor, capacity, and keeping the house a bit cooler. I've used it 1-2 times a week for the past month and a half or so and have been pleased with most everything I've cooked.
My only complaint (minor) is that dropping the pan from waist-height bent it out of shape to the point it would no longer seat right in the fryer. Fortunately, it was also flimsy enough to bend back into shape.
I highly recommend this fryer to anyone looking for a sizable air fryer and have already bought a second to give as a...

alokalok:
Love the convenience, simplicity, ease of cooking and cleaning. Not having to endure extreme rise in temperature is a major plus , thanks to avoiding the conventional oven and using this wonder.
I bought the big one because it can provide flexibility of cooking small or big batches of stuff. Tried making frozen garlic bread, spring roll,French fries - came out better than conventional cooking. The timer stops automatically which prevents food from over cooking or burning.
I didn’t notice plastic smell or anything like that as others have mentioned. No preset options so have to dig up internet for some cooking times but nothing that’s difficult to figure out ! Overall a great way to eat fried food in a healthier way !

moonslight: I received this product a few days earlier than the original estimate. It was in great condition and was in 3 boxes and was superbly protected. I didn't use it right away, because I wasn't sure I was going to keep it because it's so big. However, yesterday I decided to wash out the basket and the pan and give it a try. I dried both thoroughly per the instructions, then I preheated it for 15 minutes. I fried 1/2 bag of onion rings and they came out better than any others I've ever had -- even done in an oven with a bit of oil. These were crispy and delicious! Then later, I tried some Tater Tots and I was totally blown away. NEVER had such wonderful tater tots -- EVER! They were totally deep golden brown and very crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. If you have a family that likes fried foods but you don't like deep-frying or using oils or butter, you NEED THIS FRYER! It's large enough to make a meal for 3-4 people. Also, if you want to use the unit again, remove the pan and basket and let them cool thoroughly and wipe them out with a paper towel. Preheat the unit again, and use the fryer. On the plus side, you can wash the basket and pan in...
