Rachel Sgueglia: My little one has been struggling to get comfortable and stay asleep, to the point he was up several times a night crying. This mattress has been a lifesaver. He's waking up maybe once a night and is able to comfort himself and go back to sleep. He doesn't seem to be waking up sweaty or uncomfortable. He did have a leaking incident and I was worried about the mattress but it didn't mess it up at all. ALL AROUND WIN! So happy I took the jump and purchased this.

S. Phillips: This is a great mattress for our baby. There was no smell to it, however, we did buy an open box one to save money. I imagine if it did have an odor, just airing it out for awhile would solve the problem. I like the different firmness options on either side. It’s also very quiet, not plastic covered like other baby mattresses that crinkle when baby moves. Fits snugly in the crib. I can’t attest to its waterproofing, as I always keep a waterproof cover on mattresses to keep them clean.
