I cut the tip off and used a standard caulk gun. Application went ok and I used an one paint stick to smooth out the line.

Chris: This was easy to apply and did a great job filling in some cracks that started to form on my driveway. The tubes don’t go far though as you need to fill in the depth of the crack so buy way more than you think you need.

lisa v: I have a steep driveway and a crack that goes the entire way across. For 2 years I've tried every product that I could find, but it either didn't stick, didn't stand the elements or eventually just sank into the crack. I even tried crack filler rope topped with FlexSeal. The Flexseal just peeled up and away.
So this time I poured a mix of sand/stone dust down the crack (to about 1mm below surface level) and topped it with the Red Devil. That was in Feb and now 4 months later the crack is still sealed good and tight. I have high hopes that it will last at least a year, maybe 2. (I live in the northeast so temp swings cause everything to crack/heave at some point.) Very happy with the product, ease of application and results. I have 1 tube left and will probably buy 3 or 4 more because every time I find a great product it ends up disappearing at some point.
UPDATE: It's been 7 months and crack is still 100% sealed despite summer downpours and weeks of temps over 90F which can melt some sealing products. I'm so relieved! Will update one more time in Feb 2024 after a full year of temperature swings and (probably) at least one major snowstorm.

N.A.M.: This product blends in nicely with the asphalt because of its textured flat finish. The colour is dark grey when wet but it dries flat black.
There is still flexibility to the product even when fully cured. This should handle the freeze thaw cycle better than the rigid crack filler.
Deeper cracks ~ 1" will take several days to fully cured although the surface dries within 24 hrs.
Tips:
1. Use a stiff wire brush followed by a soft bristle brush to thoroughly clean out the area ( even if you pressure wash or blow the surface with a leaf blower). This will facilitate maximum adhesion.
2. Use a drywall knife or putty knife to blend the caulk with surrounding asphalt.
3. Try and remove all vegetation in the crack by the root because they will grow through this product before it fully cured.

S. Betts: I had multiple small and a few larger cracks in my driveway. I had tried t he more liquid fillers but in my opinion this worked better. Definitely easier to fill the cracks - the putty knife was essential to smooth it out though. I did the work in September and it's now November - other than a few small weeds coming through, it seems to be doing the job.

Adriel Ziesemer Jr.: I applied it to a crack across my driveway. A tube was enough for about 4-5 meters. It took a few days to completely harden while the top layer dried in about one hour, so you have a few minutes to apply and spread with a putty knife (I spread to the sides too to improve the adherence).
When dry, it looks like dark asphalt with a sand-mixed texture. If you have old asphalt that is already grey, the colour will not match.
Thumbs up, please, if you found it useful.

Amazoning Andy: Moved into a house that had a lot of cracks in the driveway. I tried some of that liquid filler from CanTire first. It was so easy to apply, but it shrunk so much that by next year it all needed to be done again. So last year I tried a couple tubes of this stuff just to try in one area. It takes much longer to apply, pretty much need to use a scraper or puttyknife to smooth it into and over the crack. One tube doesn't do a lot. I had a few areas that cracked in a multiple circular patterns where tires sit constantly. By the following year it had shrunk just a little bit, looked 90% still good. So this year I got a bunch of tubes and did the whole driveway making sure to provide a good overlap of the crack to allow for a bit of shrinkage. I let it cure for a few weeks and then put down a couple coats of rubberized driveway seal. I can't even see the cracks anymore.

Forrest Miller: Product does what it claims. Tried another hardware store name brand, and it was terrible. Came out of the tube hard, turned light grey when it cured, cured hard and cracked the whole length of the hairline cracks I was attempting to seal. Red Devil has no such problems. Stellar product.
