Snapper&Brenda: This was one of the more expensive canisters we have purchased. I have to say that we have 7 large fish tanks (75gallon to 125 gallon) so we have purchased quite a few canisters because we have 2 on our 125 gallon This one is on a 60 gallon with 3 small silver dollar fish and it won’t keep it clear. Either the inlet or outlet stops pumping and it makes a loud noise This was the most expensive one that was offered. I am so disappointed.

Ann PhelpsAnn Phelps: I flipped the Lever that turns off the water flow and it snapped off!!! Only the second time I ever flipped it to clean the filter sponge inside.The orange level rests against another grey one,a bigger one.I flipped the orange lever alone.Did not remember reading instructions that specified flipping both together

Michael: Other than the hoses which seemed a little too easy to kink, and too difficult to keep unlinked, the unit has functioned very well. To be fair the hose issue is common with quite a few units, you deal with it, I just do not like to.

Roger Elliott: For the water flow rating this is a very small sized filter. Which has good and bad points. The obvious good point is that it will fit almost anywhere and it runs very quietly. One of the bad parts of it's size is that it is not easy to fit filter media in it. There are only two trays. One is full of foam and small particle mechanical media and the other tray is for chemical filter media and is quite shallow. This media needs to be in long thin bags. One thing that is not in the instructions is that the biological media needs to go below the first tray. This is quite a large space and holds enough media for the aquarium to be well supported biologically.

KHKH: Received the filter, added media and connected to 500 gal tank outside, to filter and clear pond water before use. When I plugged it in the unit came on and when I tried to turn it off I noticed the on/off switch was out of place, I have to unplug to turn off before changing media. No big deal but inconvenient. I have been using it and am very pleased with its filtering and you barely hear the unit running. Volume of water flow is excellent. Customer service was excellent when I sent them a picture of on/off switch, they were eager to resolve and are sending a replacement because of the damaged switch. I would highly recommend this unit. Will update more when new pump arrives and how long it takes to clear the water.
