very nice looking pedals. classic bear trap style that will ruin your shins or calves if you slip up. 😉
unbeatable for the price.
as has been mentioned by others, the spindles were much too tight and were not greased very well...very notchy and stiff.
it's fairly easy to pop the end cap off, disassemble the spindle portion, and grease/readjust the bearing preload.
just snug it up to where there's not quite any slop, and they rotate smoothly and without much effort.
deducted one star for having to do that right out of the box.
overall very happy with them. 👍

Bearings are way over tighten. I hope after I take them apart, properly tighten them, that they will still be usable. For a expensive item from SE racing to sell pedals in this state is really saying something poor about this product. Badly over tightened.

These are the second pair of these pedals, one black pair and one red. Might buy the blue ones soon. I like to color coordinate, what can I say, and that’s a cool option. They have a great bite and are definitely sturdy. I would recommend these pedals
