BONIBELCANTO ~REVELATORY REVIEWS!!!: I cannot speak as to anything about this art desk. It sounded as if there was broken glass inside of the container. It was returned and I received a full refund. I decided not to reorder as it seemed to be heavier than I had thought it would be.

Jasahdia: I don't have enough or the right words, but I am so extremely elated with this purchase. Amazon, at the time, offered a payment plan for this that I was able to complete over 6 months. Phenomenal for me, as I would not have been able to afford the entire cost upfront. Thank you so much, Amazon!!!! I am so happy with my work space, you have enabled me to do so much you have no idea. :) My heart is filled with love about this desk. I got the clear transparent glass with black, and I think it is the best option opposed to another I saw that was bluish glass with silver. This one is spectacular and really creates a professional work space. I am so emotional with joy with this purchase, and Amazon making it possible for me.

Michelle: Looks great. Glass is easy to clean. Didn't anticipate that some types of mouse (mice?) wouldn't work on the glass surface. Bought a sensitive one that does.

Marcus Lewitzki: I have never owned a drafting table, nor have I ever sat by one before so I cannot really compare Studio Design to other drafting tables on the market, but I definitely don't have any complaints on its functionality so far. This is an awesome product that have given me lots of fun and hopefully will for years to come. The only problem I have with it is its aesthetics, which of course is a matter of taste. I myself don't really like this type of modern 'sci-fi-type' designs. I'm more into furniture crafted from wood with a more classical, rustic feel to them but that was of course something I knew I would have to live with when I ordered this table. And besides, IF this table had been made from wood it would have costed a small fortune, this did not.

SoundPawsSoundPaws: This table is the best thing that ever happened to me! I won't lie, it took me about 3 hours to build, but the instructions were pretty clear. The table is very sturdy, as expected since this model is #1 on many "Best Drafting Tables" lists I came across.

I just love it. It fits most of my stuff for quick grab, and it has plenty of space under so I put a tiny table for more pencils and I'll add cheap plastic drawers for more storage. I added two clip-lamps on the top shelf, and two hanger-baskets from the dollar store and voilà! I also saw a guy on YouTube who installed a LED bar on that bar perfectly positioned under the table, for a perfect tracing table. The top shelf can't hold too much, but a couple books are no problem. I read a review saying theirs was tilting, mine wasn't, plus my floors aren't straight so I was happy when I saw the table came with screwable, adjustable leg tips to level it.

If you're looking to get this model, this exact table from this seller is the cheapest I found on the net at the time I ordered (we searched). It arrived in perfect condition within a week. The delivery guy brought it all by himself up the scary outdoors...

acme.bakery: It arrived quickly and in good condition. I bought this for my son who is trying to get into art school. The instructions for assembly were clear and for the most part was easy for my son and husband to assemble this together. There was one place where the hole wasn't big enough for the bolt and my husband had to drill it out a bit. My son is disappointed in the flimsiness of upper section and says the upper shelf is not really usable because of that flimsiness. He also says the cups and trays on either side are too shallow to be of real use. He's using the middle drawer for most of his pens and pencils. The desk tilts easily and locks in six increments, but you have to bring it all the way up in order to bring it back down.

chopper: I have been searching for a well engineered adjustable glass top drawing table for a couple of months... reading many reviews on different manufactured drafting/drawing tables, and the one consistent company that was always on top of many reviews I read was the "Studio Designs" drafting/drawing tables. Like some of the other reviewers here, I was going to purchase the economically priced Studio Designs "Futura Craft Table"... which I was totally fine with... but... when I found out about the "Tower" model, I started to think about the type of artwork I do.

I use a lot of historical reference materials in my professional artwork, and was always having trouble keeping this material from cluttering up my work space... but still trying to keep the materials close enough to see all the fine details clearly, which was a constant frustration... but... with the added tower to the Futura table, and the attached cork board and the added magnates... this solved the problem for me by helping to hold all of my reference materials up and away from my work space, but still keeping them close enough to see all the fine details I require... It then became obviously clear to me, I had to...

Pat: This is just what I've wanted for a work desk. I decided to look into a desk with a glass top (for inking with printmaking) and a drafting section for doing watercolor painting. So this was perfect. Overall I am very satisfied with the product itself. The glass is fairly thick and is tempered and the metal is pretty sturdy and it's tall enough that my chair slides under so I can pull my body up to the work surface if I want.

I do have a few minor complaints, though they aren't really with the item itself. First, I thought I had read somewhere in previous reviews that the weight limit was 45lbs (though I don't think I read anywhere in the specs about weight limit). But at the time I thought "45lbs is pretty good!" Unfortunately when I opened the product, the paperwork said 25lbs. Along with this, I thought I had read in the reviews that the flat section and the drafting section could be switched to either side depending on where you wanted it. I found out this was not the case. The drafting section goes on the left and the flat goes on the right. A bummer, but again, not an issue with the product itself, really, just impressions I got that turned out to be not so.
