KellyC: As a female, I use more toilet paper & I find it to outlast anything else I've ever used. It is strong (unless you try to use it to wipe up a little water on the bathroom counter), & it doesn't produce & leave behind "dust." It may not be as soft to the touch as the dust-producing papers, but if you don't rub the hell out of your bottom (haha), you won't have a problem.

The thing I find funny about how many plys toilet paper has is that all the manufacturer has to do is make the paper thicker. In the case of this product, when the circumstance needs it, you can fold it over as much as you might need to & the roll still lasts longer.

Scott is a great value for the money & I shall continue to use it as long as it remains so.

Christie HaggardChristie Haggard: This is the only toilet paper we use in my house. I love that it is easy on the septic system. I live in an almost 100 year old house and don't want to have to deal with issues like that. It's not soft at all but I like that. I feel like the soft toilet paper leaves fuzz and tends to rip. I'm not sure what the obsession with soft toilet paper is because that doesn't matter one bit to me. I've tried some generic types of paper similar to this but it is too thin. This is thin, too, but a better quality than toilet paper.

Change: First price, Scott 1000 is .10 a roll where as Amazon Basic, the next cheapest brand is .25 a roll. This is if you are paying about $31 for this product. I saw other seller's are offering the exact same product for $10-15 more.. The wording is misleading especially on the Amazon basic brand. Check out the price per sheet.
Now on to quality, this aren't super soft sheets. They are absorbent and don't leave behind pilling.
They are good for your pipes. We don't get clogs the way we have in the past with other toilet papers.
I have tried a dozen brands, none is better or cheaper.

Timothy D. Runkel: Scott brand has been the only kind of tissue that I use for 60+ years. Been buying this my whole life and parents also used this brand. It is always consistent and never let's you down. Being able to buy online and get it delivered to your door is a big bonus in my book.
