J Martin: Okay, these type of towels feel radically different than other towels. Although soft, they feel very thin and like they’re not going to be very absorbent. Nothing could be further from the truth. They absorb just as well, if not better, than classic bath towels. They’re like a chamois cloth for humans/pets (we bought this one for our dog).
The towel dries very quickly and folds super compactly. It’s very easy to roll the towel and place it back into its provided carrying bag.
We like these towels so much that we have bought multiples for traveling.

The Commander: Ordered this set to use on a fishing boat in México. Sounded just right in the sales ad. I tried it today and found that the shower towel is so smooth that it's like just washing by had. No scrub action at all. The regular towel does indeed require a pat dry yet it still, for me, fails to completely dry the skin. I can't now return it but did order a different brand replacement. I cannot recommend this travel towel set.

Bea: They are typical micro fiber. Didn't feel the need to spend a fortune on a gym towel. You do need to pat dry instead of rubbing. think some of my older ones (different brand) are better for rubbing, but they were expensive.

It dries me up great. I just squeeze out the water fold it up small and back in my “wet bag” that goes in my gym bag. Very portable, forget the bulky towel. Great for camping too.
