It's a brilliant idea for those who must move a bike in a cramped area such as a subway system or garage and hate being nipped by the pedals. I love these pedals. Being nipped has happened so often in the past that I instinctively look down to wonder why it has not happened. I ride a cargo bike, and it is very long. One less inconvenience is great for me.

I broke the pedal off my spin bike and replaced it with a pedal from an old bike that didn’t have a cage. This meant I had different push/pull between my two legs because one had a cage, the other didn’t. Getting these new ones installed has been great. They seem like good quality and we’re really easy to install.

These installed well and the threading felt solid while being inserted. A simple pedal, they accepted strapless toe clips easily.
The berings are exposed so I would suggest oiling them before installing them. Then through their lives as needed.

Los compré ya que la bicicleta de mi hijo tenía un pedal dañado. Como no encontré piezas originales, me decidí por estos ya que eran de una medida parecida. Quedaron perfectos, y creo que hasta mejor que los originales. Muy recomendables.

Observación: antes de colocarlos si aplicar un poco de aceite para que estos pueden girar sin problemas.

Some pedal replacements that are described as universal will only fit 9/16" threads. Many, if not most adult comfort bikes have 1/2" threads. This pedal fits those adult comfort bikes without using the adapter.
Even the little things were helpful. The shafts are marked L & R on the end which is helpful. Nicely packed with holes in the package to differentiate between 1/2" and 9/16".
I have no idea how sturdy the pedals will prove to be, but they seem to be a good value.
