Douglas Demore: Not much to dislike, small trouble with setting up derailleur i have previous experience with building bikes from scratch but if you don't you may need some hep .
Shipped in good protected box, with no damage , surprising compliance in the front suspension fork , little tricky setting the suspension seat post but read the instructions and all should be good.
In all great price + Schwinn quality ,rides easy and smooth as long as you have things that make's the bike fits to you, GREAT product...

Pauline: A few issues assembling. Slight adjustments to fender. Still not perfect. Fender sits slightly off center and touches the back tire. Not enough to affect ride.

BriarpatchDude: The front fender needed some adjustment . As well as the front brake. Otherwise its assembly was straight forward.
Not a bike I would want on use on streets with alot of pot holes though. The spoke design scares me.

Amazon Customer: I been watching the price on this bike for the past year. Started at $569 and was up and down constantly. This past March, one day it dropped to $193.

I bought it. I'm 62 years old and was just looking for a bike for some exercise.

The bike was delivered by Amazon in a 24' box truck. The delivery guys left it by my garage door. When I went out after they left, I noticed the box had been opened. I looked in the box and could see that the bike was well packed. All of the frame tubing was individually wrapped with paper and cardboard. The handle bar and seat was wrapped as well with bubble wrap. The wheel axles had hard plastic caps on the ends to protect them and keep them from piercing the box. Looked like the box was just opened but the bike had never been removed.

Assembly was easy: seat post had a quick release clamp, from wheel had a few springs and washers but was looked in place with a quick release clamp, handle bar was installed with just 2 screws, pedals just screwed on the crank, and the fenders with just a couple screws. Amazon Customer: 1st bike that arrived came damaged, derailleur was broken of completely. I believe this happened in transit, not the makers fault. Bike was very easy to assemble. Saddle is very comfortable. Its a joy to cycle, large bike, I'm 5,9 and suits me fine, Saddle can be raised very quickly. Overall very pleased with my purchase

Cheryl T: This bike is a solid and good quality, as would be expected from Schwinn. I looked at many different bikes at a number of regular online retailers, and found this bike was the best quality for the lowest price. Anything less expensive had reviews about things breaking or cheap engineering. Have no fear! This bike is good.
My only issue was that I did need help from a bike enthusiast friend to complete the assembly and set the brakes right. The manual was not detailed enough for someone like me that hasn't bought a new bike in years. Oh, and I hate that the mens came in black, yet the womans came in white; couldn't we both have had neutral colour, like forest green?

Avid ReaderAvid Reader: Was looking for a budget hybrid and spent a good 5 or so days (in my freetime) shopping online and at my local bike shop. Bought the Schwinn Discover because it dropped in price while in my cart to around $240. I'm a total bike novice so after narrowing it to this bike and a diamondback I choose this because it was $60 cheaper. If you are looking for a bike that can go on the road, sidewalks, and minor trials/grass this is the bike for you. This bike is amazing. My step dad was in awe at the craftsmanship and he works for CAT so if the craftsmanship impresses him I know its solidAnyways ill list some pros and a few minor cons. But if your on a budget and are not sure about which bike to choose (like I was) then hopefully I can sway you. I have never owned a Schwinn or any other name brand bike. I haven't road a bike over 2 miles since 2003 but I love it now.

- BEAUTIFUL looking bike. You can tell it was made with quality parts and that Schwinn can still make good, durable bikes.
