JbarJbar: To begin, I'd mention that I've used this for green, black, oolong, rooibos, chamomile, and mint teas. I've not used it for white tea so I can't really comment about that specifically. Despite my initial qualms about it being cheaply made or the top not fitting well after consistent use, I really must say that I love this thing.
This infuser is pretty straight-forward; you put the tea in, seal the cover by turning it a tiny bit (you'll hear and feel a little snap into place each time you do so), and hang it on the edge of the cup while your tea brews. I want to make mention that I have had absolutely no problems with the cover not fitting or not sealing well, falling off, etc.
This infuser is very useful to make anywhere up to 2 cups (16 oz) of tea at a time, based on my own personal use. I've not been able to make any more than that as I can generally just not fit that much tea leaf inside of it. If you're looking to make more than 2 cups at once, this is not the infuser for you.
The other big problem with this infuser regarding its size is that you may have trouble making teas that involve the unfurling of a leaf. For example, gunpowder green tea, any...

Helen Irene: It's a nifty little tea strainer, emphasis on little. As the seller says in one of the Q&As, it's about 2" x 2" outside dimensions, more like 1 1/2" across inside. I expected it to be larger from the photos. That must be a pretty small glass teacup it's portrayed with. I think I'm okay with the size even though I was surprised. My only actual complaint is that I find the twist lid is a bit fiddly to get off. Closing it is simple, but one of the three attachment points keeps trying to stay shut, and I have to fuss with it to get it apart. If it’s compared to the kind of built-in strainer with a dedicated mug or teapot, where you pour the boiling water right onto the tea leaves and then lift out the strainer, this probably has less immediate and full contact between the boiling water and the tea-leaves. It did brew up a very nice mug of Lapsang Souchong, though. The real competition here is with the little mesh strainers you can put into any cup, mug, or teapot. So far I like it better than my mesh strainers for the following reasons:
* This holds quite a bit more when half-full, so could be used for a bigger mug or a small pot.
* This one is a lot easier to fill and...
