Kathy: Little leery brim would not stay rolled but it held shape well. Packed upside down with clothing around & inside to help hold shape. It stayed on well at beach when it was very windy.

I am familiar with this style of hat....Scala has a good name in the hat industry. I have been looking for this hat for over a year so when I found one on Amazon.ca, I was ecstatic. And the price was very good. The quality of the hat is lovely...100% cotton, so it will be cool as well as comfortable. I can highly recommend this hat....I got the medium brim.
