Amazon Customer: Three turning tools are so comfortable in the hand and so easy to use they make fast work of turning wood or acrylics on a lathe. I work in a school and the wood shop teachers have a lathe to teach students turning. I recently learned and tried getting these for myself. The problem is the tech ed teachers are constantly using mine instead of the school's. They are sharp, sturdy, and precise. Worth every cent.

Alex: Not much to say: it’s a great set of basic tools. It comes with a storage/carry box. Carbide places should last a long time and stay sharp longer.

Tools are easy to use, well designed and ergonomic. Overall, it’s a great beginner set.

Braxis: Very nice tools, if smaller than the big name brand. They work great for small spindle work on my mini lathe, but the length and carbide cutters too small for doing larger projects on my full size lathe. That said, I bought them for my mini because the big tools were too big for my mini lathe. My only concern will be finding replacement carbide cutters, but that will be a while.
I found the tools easy to use and an inexpensive option to the more well known brand.
I would definitely recommend these for anyone looking for smaller carbide wood working tools.

crimso: Love the tools, they are comfortable to hold and move well on the tool rest. Of course they are super sharp and they make quick work of whatever you're spinning. Because I've generally made most of my pens with a gouge I've never gotten comfortable with a skew. With that said, I had little interest in the square tool. So I ordered the Ci2-R2 cutter at the same time and immediately replaced the square cutter.
What follows is my impressions based on my not so expert opinion and limited to pen making. It didn't take long to find the sweet spot for any of the tools and they throw more chips than sawdust. The diamond shape cutter's radius is too large for pen making in my opinion. If it had been the diamond point cutter I could see it being a little more useful for such small work. I will likely order the diamond point cutter to replace it. The round tool is probably the most forgiving of the three and ideal for concave shapes. It does require a slightly steadier hand than the square radius cutter to get a evenly smooth surface. Carlos: The tools themselves are great. This is my first set of carbide turning tools. I turn mainly small items so the tool length is perfect. Overall very good. I only gave it 4 stars because the metal band on all three were never glued in place. They were slightly snug so I didn’t notice it until I started turning and one came off. I checked the others and they were the same. So that’s my only complaint.
