MomOf4MomOf4: It’s a great cabinet that is well-built and has easy to assembly pieces. However, you MUST pay close attention to Step 8 when putting the back of the cabinet on. It is Vital that you square the cabinet because if you don’t, the doors will not line up correctly. Hope this will save someone hours of headache!

JWest: I read a lot of reviews before we purchased this. First, the box is VERY heavy. I would not have been able to lift it by myself. All parts came in a clear, laid out plastic with various pockets. This was super nice and kept things organized. Wasn’t bad to assemble but had a few confusing parts. Fairly study however, the bottom drawer wasn’t made correctly on ours. It sits higher and has a gap on the bottom and causes it to rub/hit the doors. This happens any time you open the doors or drawer. We tried multiple ways to change it but it really seems like the holes for the track was drilled too high.

mike w.mike w.: I have been looking for a two foot wide wardrobe for awhile, and I found it in this wardrobe. I wanted a small wardrobe next to my bed and nightstand so I could grab some clothes without waking up my wife by rummaging in my closet on the other side of the room.

Things I liked about the wardrobe:
1. Easy to follow instructions with some humor thrown in
2. The fake veneer looks very wood-like
3. The lower drawer hardware works flawlessly
4. Hanging the front doors did not require a lot of work to get even
5. The pre-punched holes on backing made it easy to nail it in place
6. It took me about 2 1/2 hours to put the wardrobe together, and I did not run into any difficulties with manufacturing defects.
7. The simple door handles are metal and not plastic

Things that could be improved about wardrobe:
1. The wood hanger rod is warped and flimsy. I would recommend replacing it with something from a local hardware store. I got a Martha Stewart adjustable rod from Home Depot for $15. Also, the rod is hung a little low, which can be easily fixed.
2. The veneer joints show the white from the particle board. I darkened them with a furniture touch-up...

+or-+or-: We needed a closet to complete a bedroom in a very small condo and didn't want to spend a lot. The size was important and it had to look good, not be anything fancy, just hold a few clothes hangers on a rod. A drawer was an afterthought, yet turned out to be an asset. We liked that this was made in the USA, were happy it came from Ohio. Surprisingly, this small wardrobe weighed a ton in the shopping box but weighed nearly as much out of the box. At almost 130 pounds, be prepared if you need to move it yourself and it doesn't hurt to be kind to your delivery person when the package arrives. Nothing separates the parts in the box, so hope yours travels quickly to avoid damage. Ours was on the road for only a couple of days and there was some minor breakage at board edges which we decided to live with due to time constraints. Out of the box, we saw that most parts were labeled with lettered stickers and everything was identified in the manual.

This manual looked good and was very complete. My only gripe was that the hardware was labeled in the plastic compartmentalized bag but identified with different numbers in the manual. This became confusing at first but since I chose to...
