Kat 💓Kat 💓: The panels are made with wood that looks like it was put in a grinder and spit back out again. Also the shelves buldged out, i even attempted to retighten all the screws and go back and re-attach the pieces using the instructions, the safety strap definitely didnt hold or make a difference, this shelf started collapsing as soon as i added weight to it, i had my $2500 gaming pc at the bottom so quickly i had to grab everything off the shelf and tell my sister to hold it to prevent it from shattering all over my set up, 4 hidden cam screws that dont stay tight to hold the bottom part of the shelf is ridiculous, also this shelf took up almost my entire day to install, needs MUCH more support especially for carpet homes, this thing cant handle more than a few pounds if that. Wasted $80 on a cheap horrible shelf.

Tonya pomeroyTonya pomeroy: Needed something bigger than a cubby but still shallow enough to fit behind my closet door.
Perfect size as I was able to still find cubbys and storage that kept the are neat.
I will say that putting it on carpet makes it a little less sturdy as it rocks easily.

ArleneArlene: The screws that you have to put in are fine as long as you're an arm wrestler. Any electric drill wouldn't even cut it. They should have put holes in the rough side! The back of the shelf ripped appart while I was trying to put it in place. Horrible product. Do not buy this!

Amazon Customer: This bookshelf isn't perfect, the instructions have a few incorrect parts, the design isn't as sturdy as I'd have liked, some of the materials feel cheap, for instance the backing is almost paper thin. However the reason I rated this 4 stars and not 3 is because you get what you pay for. This is one of the cheapest niceish looking bookshelfs listed, it's not total junk, it was packaged well and the shelves and walls are seem to be decent quality. Not bad overall, just don't expect a bookshelf that's perfect or that'll survive multiple moves.

Sherri Hutchison: I bought 2 shelves, one from here and one from Walmart. Same price, same size...Walmart bookshelf came in multiple pieces including the sides and backing, not the sturdiest. Then their was this one...the long pieces all came in one piece. Even the back piece was all one piece. Very easy to put together. Both came with a wall mount to secure to wall, I had to do it with the one from WM because I felt like it could fall over at any moment but didn’t have to with the one from here. Very sturdy and highly recommend Amazon and not Walmart.
