Cassie Lang: I feel like after reading EoS I just really struggled with wanting to finish the last two books. Knowing that ToD was not directly related to Aelin and her storyline and then KoA starting with her being captured. I also felt like moments of KoA dragged but I also know it was to get through her rescue, each characters story and bring them all together and in a way that I hadn’t expected. I assumed everyone would fight the entirety of the battle together and then the wrydkeys would be dealt with but the way SJM chose to handle that and truly the ending was just so much better than I imagined. Ultimately that last 75% of the book really had me and why I gave this book 5 stars. SJM really tied everything up and I truly appreciated that. Now if it was only time for CC3 to come out. ☺️ the last bit I would say not directly related to KoA is that EoS and ToD really should be a tandem read, having not done it, I would have appreciated that advice rather than just not being in a mood to deal with reading a whole book not about Aelin’s escape and then the first part of KoA being about her captivity. Just my thoughts.

Animagus: What a spectacular final instalment in the TOG series!
I have LOVED every second.
Aelin is so relatable in her struggles of self worth & responsibilities.
SJM knocked it out of the park with this one & my hear was in my mouth for the last 10% of the book!

Also, there's a Rhys cameo, which totally took me by surprise but made me unreasonably happy!

Val: What can I say. Utterly brilliant. I cried, I laughed. My favourite character going from Rowan to Lorcan. I love Lorcan. Maybe the war at the end of the book a bit too Lord of the Rings for me (Morath… Mordor…). But I read this book in three - four days. I devoured it. I can’t get over how well this series is written. I highly recommend. It’s a rollercoaster. Bravo for this entire masterpiece.

Elyssa: The most amazing series I have ever read! The plot twist and stories finally all unit to one in the last unreal book. Highly recommend this series!

FranJessca @ A Book Lovin Mama's Blog: I’ve had the Kingdom of Ash on my bookshelves since it was released in 2018. I know it’s been four years, but I finally got the courage to read it. I knew that Sarah J. Maas would rip out my heart with the last book in the Throne of Glass series, which is why it took me this long to read it. Well, I finally finished it, and yes, Sarah ripped my heart into threads in certain parts of this book. Some more than others. I’m happy I finished it and sad at the same time. I told myself I would read it slowly to savor the story and characters, which I did. All I wanted was for a happily ever after. It did take some time to get there, but it finally happened. Thank you, Sarah J. Maas, for writing these characters and world. I’ll cherish the Throne of Glass books forever. This is one world I can’t get enough of, and I definitely plan on re-reading them again in the future.

My Thoughts: Here are things I enjoyed about the last book in the Throne of Glass series:

I love reading several points of view in a book, and Sarah J. Maas gives readers several angles to what is enfolding in her books. I felt the pain of what was happening to Aelin and Fenrys when she had been...

BrittanyBrittany: What can I say about this massive novel other than OH MY GOD WHAT A MASTERPIECE.

I loved EVERY SINGLE PAGE. With this end to the Throne of Glass series being 980 pages – there was A LOT that happened, and I obviously will not be able to capture everything in this review. This review will most likely be spoiler free for the first half and then the second half will contain spoilers that I simply HAVE to talk about, but I will be sure to put a disclaimer warning everyone not to proceed unless you’ve read it or like me absolutely love spoilers. You do you. (although I managed to not be spoiled at all!)

First and foremost, I know a lot of people are talking about the length of this novel and the fact that its nearly 1K pages. I’ve read several reviews saying that the length was unnecessary and that AT LEAST 200 pages could have been cut. Honestly, I thought the length was perfect. Yes, it is long. Yes, it is a commitment to read it and get through it. But this book is written so well, and the story is so fantastic that I flew through it and it was over before I even realized I was close to the end.
Also, to those that feel it should have been shorter I just want...

Zeilenwanderer: Die Throne of Glass-Saga liegt hinter mir. Was soll ich sagen? Kingdom of Ash ist alles, was ich mir unbewusst gewünscht habe.

Vor allem da Kingdom of Ash nahtlos dort ansetzt, wo Empire of Storms und Tower of Dawn aufgehört haben.
