SGR: I enjoyed the first book in this series so much that I ordered this one. It continues the story of a pioneer woman, Sarah Prine, and her family as they settle in the Arizona/New Mexico area. Very well written and a joy to read.

Kindle Customer: A great sequel to a book about ranch life in 1900. The characters are true to life with all the hardships and heart ache.

Grizwolds: I liked These is my Words so I thought I’d read Sarah’s Quilt not expecting that much as sequels are usually a let down. Not this one! Better than the first! I want another! I want a TV series! Little house on the Prairie on crack!!!!

Sue S: Read this after ‘These is my words’ as I wanted to find out what happened to Sarah and her family. I loved the characters and cried at many points in the book as they suffered terribly. Sarah’s strength, resilience and good nature is an inspirational tale that makes you believe in the human spirit and all that can be achieved with hard work and kindness. Highly recommended and I eagerly await the next book.

Sue: I absolutely loved this book. I was drawn into the lives of the characters almost immediately. I have to say that there were very few plot surprises and I always had a good idea of what was coming but I didn't care. At the end I immediately downloaded the sequel but couldn't read it straight away as I was still very emotional! You'll know what I mean when you read it.

Jennifer Barnes: Sarah's Quilt is the continuing story of Sarah Prine Eliott and her life, as it continues after the death of her husband and the move back to her ranch. It is a hard time in the history of the Arizona territory, with relief from the Indians comes pressure from the railroad and the ambitions of a greedy neighbor. Sarah and her family continue to struggle on through fire and sword, just as they did in the first book. There is so much going on in this story, it gets overwhelming at times. I miss the diary entry format of the first book because the white knuckle action was contained to the past tense and made it a less nerve wracking. The author of these stories is talented, and you become a part of the story and attached to the characters, many of whom don't make it. It's kind of an emotional roller coaster, but one you can't put down.
I can't say enough good things about this story, Sarah is truly a badass, one of my all time favorites. Everything that happens in the novel, both good and bad, totally makes sense. It feels like it was all supposed to happen, or it did happen. The author has made it very real, for me anyway, when I put the book down I'm a little bit surprised to...
