It's very sturdy and I can relax knowing I won't get stung or bit while I sleep. The only catch is that it's a little tricky to fold up, so I decided to practice folding it at home so that when I went on my camping trip, I would be prepared. Anyway, 10/10!

SuiteJudiBlueEyes: My son used this at boy scout camp in July, in a military style tent and cot. It is super easy to put up and take down. Did the job! Keeping the bugs out. Only small issues are that it was about 4-5 inches wider than the cot and it would be great if it folded into a smaller disk to take backpacking. Still, it works well and he'll use it again.

Chickfilafan: I was continually getting bit when visiting my mother and spending the night. No one else in the house was getting bit--only me. Insect repellent wasn't working, so I decided to try out this tent. I still get bit during the day at times, but I know I haven't been bit at night since starting to sleep in this tent because I don't get bit on exposed areas. It's so easy to set up, since all you do is let it open. The tarp floor is a little noisy because it is crinkly, but I put a mat inside, and that cuts down a little on the noise. But whatever noise there is isn't bothersome. It is also very roomy for me (5'1"). Some have complained about difficulty in folding the tent back up, but I found the directions to be spot on, and I have no problem folding it back up. I feel very cozy in it, and I may just use it even when the mosquitos go away!

Bob Anderson: Our 29-unit apartment building for a time had an ongoing bed bug problem that had also invaded many other buildings in the Northern Canada city I live in. I used Sansbug tent on my bed in my bedroom for about 6 months over a 3-4 yr period. Eventually, around the 2-yr period a few inches of the seam separated and around the 3rd to 4th year the zipper started to not work properly leaving areas of the screen open. I did try duct tape on the open seam joining the canvas & mesh which worked for a time but didn't hold very long on the mesh. The zipper also needed replacement & couldn't be fixed. These are the defects you'd expect over time.
This is my second SANSBUG tent. Overall, the tent was well worth the price and stood up well except for the minor issues mentioned. Overall the cost for me not to get bitten & have a sound sleep was about $20 per year over a 4-year period. A, real bargain!
Thank you, Hakuna Matata Tents!

Sarah: We purchased one of these for our son for Scout camp last year. It was perfect! It kept all the spiders and mosquitos off him while he slept, and he was thrilled. It's currently at Scout camp for a second year.
The SansBug fits nicely on the cots in the adirondack tents, although it is a little compressed by the canvas on one side. He had an issue last year with his sheets slipping on the tarp bottom and getting wadded up, but that problem would be solved by using a sleeping bag.
Our son is currently 12 and is able to fold the SansBug by himself, although he does require assistance to get the strap back around the folded tent. It doesn't fold up small enough to pack into a footlocker or suitcase, but it's light weight, so he can carry it himself easily.
We love the SansBug and highly recommend it!

India One Niner: I have not used it in the field yet. I just opened it to check it and learn to repack it. Opening is very easy. To learn to refold it, do watch the video as recommended. The written instructions are vague and on the copy I had the logo on the actual screen and that in the image in the instructions are on different sides so things dont match up as you try to follow them. Easy to fold after I watched the video. I crawled in to check it out. I'm 5'11" and I felt it was a bit short. If I stretched either my feet or head would touch the ends. Mosquito bites could happen. Potentially more annoying is that with one's ears close to the netting one is likely to hear the annoying buzz of mosquitoes trying to get in. A couple more inches in length would have solved that. I will just use earplugs if needed, but that detracts from listening to nature's noises. It is sufficiently wide and to allow one to toss and turn, and change clothes. The hoops that support it are sufficiently strong to support a tarp to keep rain out. At the same time, flexible enough to allow it to squish enough to put in the back of a vehicles with sufficient lenght and sleep in it allowing the vehicle windows to be open...

Catti: I bought this tent as a bonding tent for sugar gliders, and it works well for that purpose. The only drawbacks are that it's a bit confusing to fold up, the mesh "door" flops in your face when open because they don't have adequate ties to hold it up (I now use clothespins), and it doesn't have enough places to hang items from the ceiling. It does have loops at each end, so I solved the hanging problem by clipping a piece of parachute cord to the two loops. The tarp floor is sturdy, easy to clean and I don't think it will wear out any time soon. I recommend the tarp floor model for sugar glider owners even if you don't plan to use the tent outdoors. The mesh is very fine, like silk, and would definitely keep bugs out. My gliders can easily climb the mesh and they love to zoom around upside down all around the tent. When I first received the tent, it seemed a lot bigger than I expected, but it actually fits on top of a queen sized bed (I use it on my bed because I have arthritis and can't sit on a floor anymore). You just have to be careful opening it indoors as it "pops" open with enough force to cause injury. Same goes for folding it, make sure you read the manufacturer's...

paulf: This is the 11th no-bedbug-bite-day since starting to sleep inside my new SansBug tent. Previously I was being bitten daily or every other day. So I feel fairly sure of my ground when I say that I believe that bedbugs cannot enter a zipped-up SansBug tent. The thing that takes up my time is making sure I don't take bedbugs into the SansBug myself!
They can hide in the seams of clothing and are very small, especially in the early life-cycle stages.
So for bedbugs you have to treat the SansBug much like Nurses and Surgeons treat an operating theatre -do not enter it unless you have tried to make sure you are free of 'bugs'.
Anything you wear in bed or cover yourself with only goes inside the SansBug after laundering above 40C, ideally 50C. And then it stays in there with the zip closed. -Until it comes out for re-laundering.
Only open the zip when you need to, never leave it open.
So now the SansBug is a bedbug-free-zone.
If you leave the zip open or enter the SansBug wearing your street clothes, you are asking for trouble.
Bedbugs aside, I like the way the SansBug folds-up, and the subsequent small space it takes up.

Les: Great versatility, looks great, durable, zipper seals tight! I purchased so that my toddler grandchild can play without getting bitten up by mosquitoes. With plenty of room for some toys and a tiny pool for him to sit in and stay cool- right next to me!
