Just MeJust Me: I have almost a love hate relationship with this dress. I just received it today. I'm 5'9", 230lbs, and curvy. I have long legs, shorter torso, wide hips, decent butt, and huge boobs in a really full 38DD (I like them pushed in and held down as much as possible, I should probably size up). I've put on 40 lbs in the last year so I was really looking for a dress that would help to hide that.

I wanted to love this dress. I have an event this weekend and I only ordered this size XL based on other girls reviews. Unfortunately, it didn't meet my expectations. Those pleats in the back gave me a weird bump on the dress! Y
I couldn't even hide it with a stretchy belt. From the front, it looks great (minus the fact that its showing almost no cleavage. I don't want to show a lot, but a little would be nice), from the side or the back, not so much.

The fabric, I love! It's like those pants you buy that look like dress pants but they're pull on and hold their shape even though they're stretchy. This is made with that type of fabric, only a heavier weight of it. There's also a zipper on the side under one arm. The seam below the breasts has some stretch, but the zipper keeps...

ForeverYOUNGForeverYOUNG: I have a 57' chevy golf cart and it's fun to dress up when i ride around in it.... I will wear this with white bobby socks and saddle shoes or white keds. I have lots of fun accessories - probably will wear it with my white scarf tied around my pony tail and cat eye sunglasses. It's really about fun. About sizing... I am 5'8"... 38DDD and usually wear a 14/16 or 0x/1x. I read other reviews and decided to size up to an 18. I feel that was a good choice, especially in terms of length. There is a left side zipper, however, I am easily able to pull it over my head without using the zipper at all. The arms are VERY comfortable, NOT tight at all. The material is stiff and starchy - which is good. Helps it to keep it's shape. BONUS: It is stretchy! There is a wide tie-on belt included. The collar stands up and is a little odd... but will work. NO pockets. The top wraps across your chest but it is not a wrap around dress... I like that that it is very modest. NO cleavage showing. The dress falls well below my knees - to what I consider the perfect length for this type of dress... ALSO... I did buy and am wearing a full petticoat under the skirt. MelissaMelissa: I normally wear a medium, but I ordered a large to be safe. I am 5'8" tall and weigh 128 lbs. short torso long legs. Lol Just giving you stats so you can order the right fit. I could have easily ordered a medium. This dress is true to size. Since it had the wide belt it was no problem it was a little big on me. I think because it is a stretchy material bustier women would be fine. So order the size you normally would. The material is thick. It does not feel cheap. All seams are with a serger. I did not have to wear a slip, the material is thick so you cant see through it. Glad! The dress hit me right at the knee it was perfect. It flowed and swung just like a swing dress should. I loved wearing it to the 50s themed party. The belt is wide and long so you can tie jt in a bow. I chose to tie it on my side and up a bit from whwre my waist is. But you can do whatever you want. Oh! It does not smell when you get it. It comes folded up very small. All I had to do was reiron it. It has a nice bit of starch on it. I did iron the collar to my liking. It was up to high for me. I washed it on gentle the next day and hung it to dry. It washed fine. It needs ironed now, its not bad wrinkly but...
