Nina: I am a beginner, so it was a bit hard to use the way I wanted, less control. However, the pens are pigmented.

Hansong S.Hansong S.: As a beginner these were nice and colourful however the tip was quite soft and after only a bit of usage, the ink has started running out form the green, causing an unpleasant look. I still recommend this product as it’s affordable and ok for the price. I’ll see how these hold up later on.

Amazon Customer: These aren’t MY favourite brush pens because they have a really long tip that’s also really flexible. I like the tombow fudenoske hard tip brush pen because I find it a lot easier to use but if you don’t like that one and prefer softer ones then these would be great. They were really cheap when I bought them (10$ for 10 versus like 20$ for 10 normal pigma micron pens) and I like that they come in different colours

Sasha: What great brush pens these are! The nibs are nice and squishie but still stable enough so lines dont look so shakey when your just a beginer such as i am. I have tried lots of different brands that are considered among the best and so far these r most comfortable to learn with. A wide range of colors to try out and make your writing pop my only complaint is the red colored pen bleeds a bit on your hand ? Still not sure how or y cuz i dont see ink on pen but its a minor nuiancse for a otherwise great product

Victoria Horger: I have the Pigma Micron pens (in black) and I LOVE them. I also have the Pentel Sign Pens (in color) and I LOVE those. When Amazon showed these to me, they were an easy buy. I love Sakura pens. Naturally, being brush pens, I thought this would be a good combination between the brush pens and fine-line pens I already own. I suppose it is, but it's very heavy. I seriously would only use these for art. They bleed even through my thickest notebook pages. (Not art/drawing pages, strictly heavy notebook paper) This is not the fault of the pen really, it's just how the pen is built. It is supposed to be a brush pen, laying down huge amounts of ink. I was just hoping it would be more like my Pentel pens that I already own. I still use them for art, like I mentioned. They are smooth, they don't catch on paper really at all, and the colors are incredibly vibrant. I do think it's cool that I was able to learn about the different kinds of brush pens, and add to my collection.
I don't think I would buy them again, but ONLY because I don't do art very often. If these laid down less ink, or had a smaller brush head, I'd totally purchase them again. Just because it didn't suit my needs...

K. ChanK. Chan: I've jumped on the Pinterest bandwagon and started a Bullet Journal. This wasn't my plan at all - my sister recently gifted me a Leuchtturm1917 Medium Size Hardcover A5 Notebook - Dotted Pages - Black and like any other artist type person, I had to get it started. Already an owner of several Pigma Micron Pens, I was interested to see how the brush pen line would do - I'm happy to report that these pens work fantastically with the pages of the Leuchtturm journal.
The colors of these pens are crisp, bright, and most importantly - these DON'T BLEED THROUGH THE PAGES! That said, the pen can be seen very lightly through the Leuchtturm pages, but not so much that it causes a huge distraction. I've used enough crappy pens that pretty much ruin my desire to use any type of marker/pen in journals, and this one passes the test of "not ruining my journal with bleedy pages". The pens write smoothly, dry quickly, and the tips allow for both fine and thick lines perfect for calligraphy writers. Overall, I'm very pleased with the Pigma marker line, and this was a fine addition to my growing pen collection.

Sue DoenimSue Doenim: I’m an amateur artist and I’ve been spoiled by Faber Castell’s wonderful line of Pitt Brush Pens , but I’ve heard plenty of good things about the Sakura Pigma Brush Pens. I decided to give these a try, but they’re not as good as everyone says they are, and all the colors, in comparison to the Pitt Brush Pens, are too saturated and look like runny, poor-quality watercolors. Some people may be looking for an eye-blinding, generic crimson red or a depthless Kelly Green or a plain-looking blue (all of which are in this pack), but I’ve found that such bright colors are hard to use in my artwork.
The caps and colored plastic bottoms are also inaccurate to the colors. The ink colors are already too saturated for my tastes, yet the plastic bottoms are even more saturated than the ink. The metallic caps look like different colors in certain lights, which was not a smart design choice for Sakura, and even in regular daylight, the purple cap looks pink.
At least they handle like a decently springy brush pen, and haven’t shown any sign of running out yet. I’ve been told that these brush pens can fray or dry out quickly, but I’ve had them for four months and...

Bk: Bold color, lasts long. Felt tip splits really easily, but that's to be expected if you're not using it correctly.
