joyfulmom4: I purchased the glitter style and thought they were great so I bought these and the soufflé ones. Big mistake. The ink takes forever to dry and once it finally dries, it looks pretty but not amazing. Other gel pens look as nice and dry quickly. You can’t really write as you normally would with these because the ink would smear all over. You have to contort your hand to keep it from touching the paper and then wait until you’re sure it’s dry before moving on to another part of your drawing or writing. The pens do write smoothly and I haven’t experienced the ink flow stoppages and skips like with some gel pens. For that and the pretty colors, I’ll give them a three. I was tempted at first to give them a one star but I suppose some people might not care as much about the long drying time. Personally I would not buy them again. I wish I could find the glitter ones in more colors or just plain ones that had fast drying ink. Gelly Roll products have been around a long time and were always a quality product. I want the ones I used to buy. I’m sure they’re still available. I just need to find them. I’m sorry I wasted goood money on these while expecting a product...

CLellCLell: I could use millions of these! So far, I have ordered 4 or 5 sets of these and am using them for all sorts of things, not just on non-porous surfaces (although that is where they shine). They can be bled into each other while ‘wet’ (on the non-porous surfaces) to make beautiful swirls of color and ombré transitions. You can carefully layer them to make deeper/darker colors. I’m currently using them on top of acrylic paints as accents and on a poly dragon that I’ll seal with outdoor UV protectant and we’ll see how the color holds!
The art:
My Tool Board (it’ll eventually be sealed and have hooks added to hold my power tools, pictured) — I’m using the black and yellow, and eventually, for the splotches in the background, most of the rest of the colors along with my acrylics.
The Welcome Dragon (purchased here on Amazon) — the blues (all 3, the dark for accents, the middle for blending, light for layering), greens (dark and light, blending and layering), and purple. I may use even more, because they really are amazing!

Mommaof2: Love love love these!!! They are my absolute favorite to use. They are my go to. You know how some of these types of gel pens are so opaque and almost matte like when you use to color pages, and if they color on the outline, it’s covered up completely? Ya these don’t work that same way and you have to give them a little tiny bit extra time to dry but otherwise they are actually shiny and wet like looking. Haha kinda like glazed!!! Yes the name is perfect and you will love them if you get them I can almost guarantee that. Oh ya, One thing I did notice is that the cap doesn’t really 100% match the color that comes out of them but you will still love them and learn over time what the colors look like…They are kinda expensive I believe, but totally worth it to me!!! Love these. I actually need to see if they have more colors that I don’t already have. Thanks…hope I helped!

LauraLaura: Not very impressed with these supposed 3-D pens, particularly at almost twenty quid a box.

I followed the instructions and wrote slowly to allow the ink to flow at a higher rate, which it did but the results are a bit of a damp squib! I expected more of a ‘wow’ factor but I am sadly disappointed. They do dry to a glossy finish (I’ve tried to photograph my ‘goes’ with them for you to look at, but it’s tricky to capture?).

The nibs are very narrow and almost “scratchy” to write with. I expected it to be thicker ink too.

Perfectly acceptable as your bog standard gel pen set with a good range of colours in the box and a glossy finish but at this price bracket, they are underwhelming and poor value. I won’t be buying more.

Amazon Customer: Love these, you have to be careful and let them dry but very awesome. I drew on my cell phone case and it has never worn off.

Nina An: I use these pens for colouring since I recently got into adult colouring. I first purchased the 10-piece Moonlight set and was hooked on the Sakura Gelly Roll pens, so I had high hopes for these. They come in lovely shades and do have a beautiful glossy look to it when it dries. Unfortunately, A LOT of ink flows out when I use mine, so I have to be very careful when using them, otherwise the colours blend together (which I don't really like because it makes the paper look wet). However, this might be because the sealer on every pen came off when I first used it...
