Roman Z.: Really nice holster for my H&K P30s, extremely easy to use, draw and reholster, and it's comfortable out the box without repositioning the paddle. The retention system is excellent; very minimal, ergonomic and easy to use. However, unless you live in an open carry state, there's no way to concealed carry with this. I'm going to try mounting the holster to a few different tech clips, but from the factory it just protrudes too far from the waist. About double that of a Samsung Galaxy 22 in a Supcase in it's belt holster. Either way I'm going to keep it for practicing with my iTarget Cubes. I deducted one star for concealability, but besides that it's a 5 star holster at a great price.

Amazon Customer: I purchased this holster for my Glock 26 with the purpose of qualifying for my state's permit to carry qualification. I was pleasantly surprised with its comfort and feel, especially when sitting, entering & exiting my vehicle. I'm not outrageously overweight, but I've heard others mention how difficult it was finding a holster that took their weight into account. I was very pleased that I got a winner first time out.

VA Reader: It’s a solid Safariland product. Fits my handgun perfectly (be careful about selecting the correct model). Easy and smooth thumb release and smooth draw. Easy re-holstering with an audible “snap” when gun is properly seated and secured. Rides close to the body for good concealment, although obviously not as close as a leather pancake holster. Glad I bought it; highly recommended.

Wgoods: Safariland holster
This is my very first holster I ever bought it was recommended by an instructor. After several years of extremely hard use it is still holding up just fine. it does not cause very much holster wear, it fits the gun very nicely. Safariland is a very good company I highly recommend their holsters. the only thing about this is I change the hip paddle for a fork that fits onto my battlebelt but other than that this is a really good holster that I highly recommend

Mark: A holster to a handgun is like a sling to a rifle. Lock up is tight and silent. That’s exactly what supposed to do. Easy and easy out. fits for Glock 17 gen 5.

karamojo: Any way you cut it, the Safariland 6378 ALS paddle Holster is one of the best for any type of field use, open carry - or if you have to put on and take off your firearm quickly. It works beautifully with the compact Glock 19 (or Glock 23, for that matter), which is one of the most popular carry pistols around.
The paddle is removable, and the holster also includes a belt loop with a set of screws, so you can use the holster for attachment onto a conventional belt, if you prefer that. The belt loop fits belts from 1.5" to 1.75" in width. I haven't tried it but it might be possible to mount the holster body to other mounting options offered separately by Safariland.
The ALS - Automatic Locking System - is secure and extremely intuitive. With some dedicated training, it is possible to draw as fast as if no Level I Retention was there in the first place. If I would carry a pistol in an open top holster into the field, I would at least choose the ALS for improved weapon retention. An uninitiated individual would probably have trouble to snatch the pistol because the ALS Lever is pretty unobtrusive, hard to see and difficult to disengage - except for the carrier.
I...

karamojo: Bought this holster for a friend - a hunter who carries a S&W M&P9 "1st generation" full size model in cal. 9 mm Luger as a secondary gun in the field - to return a favor to him. The ALS system is extremely intuitive, quick and secure. When the pistol is put into the holster, the ALS (which stands for Automatic Locking System) goes "click" and eliminate any worries about loosing the pistol in the field. Don't laugh and push it aside as something that could never happen. I personally heard the sad story told by an older hunter who used a conventional leather belt holster to loose his revolver out in the field, which was a stainless steel S&W M66 Combat Magnum. It was dawn when it happened and the "shiny" finish of his revolver didn't help one bit to locate it in the dense brush. It was a embarrassing situation he found himself in having to inform the authorities about such a loss. Luckily for him, another hunter recovered this revolver a number of weeks later by pure coincidence and turned the gun in, so in the end all was all good when he got his gun back. He must have had quite a few sleepless nights, because loosing a loaded weapon, with the added risk that it might...

Nick The Destroyer: Where do I start with this holster? What a fantastic product. I use a similar Safariland model but with type 3 retention for a service pistol which takes a beating daily and has served me well. This mode is of the same quality but without the SLS hood and shield.
I decided to go with the type 2 ALS only model for my M&P 2.0 and I’m glad I did. The SLS model doesn’t really have a significant impact on your draw speed, but does add quite a bit of bulk to the holster. This model is likely as fast as a OWB/IWB holster with no retention features, but adds the peace of mind of an ALS if things go south or if you need to get physical.
The customizable-angle belt retention rig makes finding that comfortable angle easy and the optional paddle (which comes pre-installed) would be a great option for range or possibly plain clothes officers.
While this holster might not have the concealability of some other holsters, I’m willing to trade guaranteed retention for a slightly lower-profile option.
All of the components are of high quality material, right down to the screws.
One thing I would have liked to see would have been multiple tiers of angle...

ValerioValerio: Buonasera.

Noah Mahalik: For what I needed it for it works really well, same safariland quality as all the other holsters of theirs I own. I usually run a 6360 level 3 holster on my Glock 17 gen 5. This fits it like a glove and isn’t too heavy, it’s easy to draw and if you practice it’s a smooth and quick draw. I ordered foliage green and it looks good it’s more of a gray color but still a nice color, I ordered it to be able to conceal carry in winter but also have a good quality open carry holster that’s secure.
It’s level one but with the thumb release it’s secure also some reviews state it won’t fit a gen 5 Glock it will, mine is all factory and I wear a shoulder mounted light so don’t use a weapon light. It is a bit snug but secure in fit and still a smooth quick draw. The paddle is a good quality and still fits secure and can tug on the gun holstered and it doesn’t come off the belt, and at least for the non light version the trigger is completely covered so no accidental discharges.
