CSG: I have ordered this SIJ hip belt twice due to hypermobility in my SIJs and lower back. I experience pain in both my lower back and groin due to this issue. I find this belt provides quick relief of my lower back pain. It is easy to put on and stays in place for the most part. When I can wear it under clothes, it stays in place great. In instances where I have to wear it over clothes, it can slide up if I am sitting and standing frequently. The quality of this hip belt is high. I have bought 2, probably a year apart. Unlike many products, that the quality seems to go down, the second belt I purchased was even better than the first one.
I have also tried the more expensive Bauer SacroLoc Back Support in the past with good relief of my lower back pain, While I did find that brace effective in decreasing my SIJ and groin pain, I’m not sure it’s worth the price of $224.95. I feel the Vriksasana Sacroiliac Hip Belt provides significant relief at a significantly less cost of $20-$30. I would highly recommend this belt.

RisaRisa: After several rounds of physical therapy I was finally identified as having sacroiliac joint paint and not just lower back and hip pain or sciatica. My physical therapist used mild manual manipulation on my SI joint and promptly placed me in a SI belt for the duration of my PT session. The compression alleviated many of my symptoms, and I jumped on Amazon right away to order my personal SI belt.

The Vriksasana Sacroiliac Hip Belt for Women and Men arrived within two days. It was packaged very well and was new. I immediately began wearing the belt for much of the day with only brief intervals without the belt. For the first few days I even slept in the belt very comfortably. With each passing day the pain gradually decreased, and before I knew it the lower back pain was replaced with minor tightness, which is very likely attributed to my poor posture. The radiating pain in my hip region also began to diminish and continues to improve after a little more than seven days of consistent use.

The belt is very user friendly. It stretches nicely without losing compression and has 'grabbers' on the inside of the belt that prevent it from slipping or riding up. I've worn it...

Amazon Customer: I have some vertebra slippage between L4 and L5 and this belt relieves some of the pain. Of course, do the exercises your PT recommends to strengthen your core, but this belt is a nice transition as I work toward getting my core muscles to better support my lumbar area. Given how much it helps, I would give this belt five stars, only thing is, the stitching is coming apart so I gave it 3 stars overall. One has to pull the belt tight, and the stitching just isn't holding and is starting to come apart. I'll get my needle and thread out to try to strengthen the seams, but this is disappointing.

Christopher: This is an update to a review I made in May 2022.

I am 71 years of age, 5’8” tall and weigh 240 lbs, about 60 lbs more than my ideal weight, and, generally, am in good health.

For 40 years I have had a problem with my left sacroiliac joint “popping out” (probably because of my weight and sedentary lifestyle) leading to disabling and continuous pain and discomfort and needing repeated and expensive chiropractic treatment which, although always successful, only lasted 36-48 hours.

I used the belt as directed…all the time for the first 14 days, gradually reducing to the hours I felt I needed to use it.

My problem is now ‘fixed’ in that my back is now ‘normal’ and I no longer have any pain or discomfort at all, although I still wear the belt if I am doing anything strenuous such as a long hike or gardening or washing my car, just to be sure and not stress my sacroiliac joint unnecessarily.

The belt is very comfortable, light and easy to “put on and remove” and I completely forget I am wearing it; the fact that I am wearing is not apparent under my clothes.

I find it’s use so very reassuring.

Amazon Customer: Had no idea this was going to be such a game-changer!
I have a connective tissue disorder (EDS) that causes pain and subluxations/dislocations. I've had trouble with my SI joint and my hips for as long as I can remember, on top of general lower back pain.
From day 1 of using this belt, I've been more physically stable than I have been in years! I'm wearing it most of the day, and I've worn it overnight twice. Overall, this has been my result so far:

Pain reduction - 10/10. Honestly, for an elastic waist band, I couldn't be happier. None of my other braces can compare with the immediate relief I get from wearing it.

Comfort - 8/10. It's remarkably comfortable, but can slide around a bit when going from sitting to standing (and vice versa). Easily fixable and stays in place when walking around and bending, so certainly can't complain.

Discretion - 9/10. Yes, if you wear it over your clothes, it is visible, but it's very low profile and easily hidden with a long shirt or sweatshirt. Draws the least attention of all my braces as well.

Function and ease of use - 10/10. Does the job and only takes a few seconds to place and adjust.
