Moose: Had these boots before. I loved them then, love them now. Very comfortable. Only thing I don't like about them is they don't have half sizes. I need a half size, but had to go a half size bigger then needed. Not big enough deal to change star rating.

M gore: I wear these for general labor work. I do home repairs and remodel, mow lawns, haul junk, and other odd jobs. I get about 3 months out of a pair before the soles break down and stop being supportive. May not seem long but it’s about $20 a month to wear them and I’m happy. I’ve tried Wolverine and redwings, they last longer but they cost a lot more also. Last time I bought three pairs at a time so I’d be good for a while. Love the zipper on the side, haven’t broken one in the 3 years I’ve been buying them. The free socks that come with them is cool also. Just keep in mind they are not waterproof or water resistant. You can treat them with silicone waterproofing spray and it helps but doesn’t make them waterproof.

Michael Lee: After reading a ton of reviews on this boot i decided to take a chance. The size of the boot fits perfectly. No need to size up ir down. They are very wide inside and i had quite a bit of empty space inside where it wasn't touching my foot. After trying them on and waking around the inserts felt very stiff and hard on the foot. I wear dr scholls cf 340 inserts in all my shoes and knew instantly there was no way i could go for a 5 mile hike in these. That being said... they are great looking boots for the price! They are not military issue but they look similar and perform pretty close. It's not a steel toe boot but has a very stiff toe that could probably take some abuse, only time will tell. I ordered an $12 dr scholl insert that was made for this 200 lbs or more that had raving reviews and replaced the inserts right away. It wasn't a huge difference but definitely better. Since there was so much room in there i decided to leave the original inserts and add the dr scholls on top of it and Boom!! That was the ticket! I wore the boots for the whole day while we were running around doing errands and feet felt very comfortable! I've got compliments from my teenage boys, my wife loves...
