Smart Consumer: I was pleasantly surprised at how much this curtain fabric looks & feels like linen. I ordered the 72" set & it is exactly what I ordered. I needed it to cover a patio door window for privacy and it has a rod pocket at the top and a hem at the bottom wide enough to slide a rod into, so it worked perfectly! It comes with two curtains, so I have one on the door, and one to spare. It says fabric is linen blend, so hoping it's a poly blend so it doesn't shrink when I wash it.

Patrick: OKAY STOP HERE: If you want privacy sheers these are what you're looking for.

We have a big front window and I love having the light but don't want people to be able to see into our living room. I read other reviews and these sounded promising. I was shocked. They are incredible. When we put them up we could easily see out but when we went outside and looked in we couldn't see anything. Our living room is fairly dark (old house) so in the evening we looked again to see if having lights on in the living room made it easier to see in, not much change at all! Our dogs can also see through them so they aren't trying to open the curtains to see out like they used to. Machine washing and drying is also a huge plus. They are great quality and I would recommend them to absolutely anyone.

SugarMuffins: Ok so they are more sheer in the dark than I thought but that’s totally my fault because they are exactly as sheer as the listing and images show… definitely won’t work for privacy at night BUT then I am reminded of the curtain wisdom given to me as a child from my mom and grandma (yes, for real… they were into curtains): no sheer or semi sheer curtain will ever give you privacy at night - that’s not how the physics of it works… privacy can only be offered on the dark side from the light side… and then I remember why we always had double rods or a rod and a shade: nighttime 🤦🏼‍♀️ I’m layering this with one of the privacy cling films and we’ll be good. Need an option that still allows light through in the daytime since my plants are pissed off about it right now.

wild animalswild animals: These curtains are pretty good, and fantastic for the cost. We wanted privacy panels for our kitchen because we walk around with no pants on, and the kitchen is messy too. These work during the day, you really can't see anything from outside. But you can see right through them from inside, so you feel like people can see you. At night if you have lights on, people can see straight in. These are better for summer in our household. We mounted them inside the window hole, 2" from the front edge. They're not mounted too close to the window which helps give more privacy.

My sister stood just inside the window and I stood a few feet away outside during a bright day and I literally couldn't see her even though she was very close and waving. The pic from outside is a pic of her waving at me lol.

They do not look anything like the pictures as far as the transparency level. You can see right out. You can read license plate numbers through the curtains. You could read a book through them. Maybe part of it is that we got the stark white color. (Btw, I saw other listings saying theirs aren't white but I think they got a mislabeled set, these are very white.)

Amazon Customer: These beautiful sheer curtains are perfect for my living room window. We have a beautiful view outside our window, and even with the curtains closed we can still see the landscape. I highly recommend these curtains. They’re very practical, easy-care curtains, but may not be the best for winter- if you’re looking for insulated curtains. Regardless will keep them up over the winter.
