Gotbikes: My first foray into the world of RV/boat type of electrics and I am deeply impressed. This box COMES WITH the receptacle (which is not apparent In the description). The design is brilliant! No removing knock-outs, no drilling or enlarging connector openings - which are waterproof. Materials are very heavy duty. Ground connection is already done. My only gripe is the slots could grip the plug blades a little more tightly but this issue could be due to the slippery chrome-plated blades on the Chevy Bolt charge unit. This box is on another level - well done!

Sean Carsley: Had a hookup for an RV and was perfect. With interchangeable plates and a built-in weatherproof gasket it made the install extremely easy. The 30A plug was pre -wired for ground and the Phillips screws were solid. No stripping. Easy access and a solid product. Will definitely use this again.

Not to slag on other products but I have used a couple of companies whose box have "knockouts" but when I received the product had found that there was no actual knockout to be had. It was part of the metal and wasn't prepped to knock out. These plates made the job so easy.

John UlrichJohn Ulrich: This 30 Amp outlet box was quite easy to install. It is constructed of metal that seems to be of a decent quality. The paint also seems to be durable enough for withstanding the elements. There are square “covers” that are attached via a screw in each corner of the respective cover that can be removed and replaced with covers that provide labeled “knockout” holes for 1/2”, 3/4”, and 1” conduit. The covers also have a rubber “gasket” that secures weather resistance for the internal components/wires/connections.

The “door” seems to function smoothly and durably. Everything seems to line up as it should.

My buddy bought a similar product for his camper, but he had to drill his own hole to run the wiring conduit into it. I purchased this particular product because it had the included knockout panels. Unfortunately, the top panel is removable, but was larger than the included knockout panels that are designed to attach to either side of the box. For my application, I had to drill an appropriately sized hole to attach conduit to the top of the box, as pictured. This wasn’t a major problem, though. I simply used a large enough...
