jamielle: This bag is awesome! The price is unbeatable. For day hiking it has more than enough room for my rain jacket, rain pants, bear spray, sunscreen, bug spray, gloves, scarf, 2.5L water bladder! It’s amazing. The details of the bag are incredible, it has awesome support and has a lot of pockets/ compartments. Plus the water bladder is well made and the tube is really good quality and comes with a lovely cover to keep it intact. The back compartment is thermo regulated and seems to keep things cold for awhile. This bag has been great for my spring hikes around the Rockies

Aoife O Connor: I adore this .. I love it so much I bought a second one. I had an orange one which my son loved just as much so he adopted it. I use mine for hiking, my son uses his for dirt biking, my husband uses his for both. Multi use back pack, so worth the money

GWGW: I was looking for a small day pack with the ability to carry a hydration bladder and had considered the Camelbak 25 or 18 Liter offerings but wasn't convinced they were worth the price. After seeing the reviews on this one I decided to try it out. I know there's a chance that the bladder won't hold up but after testing it at home, it seems solid enough for now and did not show any signs of leakage. Later I'll get a Camelbak bladder that I can use with this or my larger pack, so it is not a concern for me and the pack seems worth the price even without the bladder. The pack itself seems well made and has good organization capabilities. The hip belt and shoulder straps seem sufficient. The zippers seem to be well made. One thing I'll note is that I ordered a dark gray but the pack I received is more like a steel blue. I like the color so it's not a concern for me. Overall, it seems like a good value.

Pauline_H: Our daughter-in-law bought this for my husband as his Christmas present. We loved it so much we bought one for me. I am 5'1" and liked the feel of the hip straps, the size and weight of this pack. There are so many wonderful zip pockets and the insulated area for the bladder is a really nice size. It is all around the best lightweight day hike backpack that we've found. I would highly recommend this brand. Very well made!

Nutbugs:
There are definitely some pros and cons to this backpack. Let me start with the cons and then I'll give you my pros.
This backpack is definitely made for someone who is a smaller shorter stature. I'm 5 ft 10 and 290 lb and the waist belt fits but just barely. The backpack sits a little too high on my back but for the most part is comfortable. The whistle is kind of a joke. First off is not very loud and second off by the time you unbuckle your thing and get that whistle to your mouth you probably going to be in trouble. I did have to buy a extra little bag for the shoulder strap for my phone. The waste pockets weren't quite big enough for my Motorola GS5. And because I am a larger woman it was uncomfortable to try to get it out of the pocket even if I could fit it in because the pocket was too far back.
Now for the pros. First off the color is great I got purple. The cooler compartment actually keeps my water bladder cold. I'm in Southern California and I wore this 5 days a week for the whole month of May and I never went home no matter how warm it was with warm water. There are plenty of compartments and each compartment is quite large to carry all...

Amy Bodin-Henderson: Perfect day pack! I had a hard time finding a comfortable and small daypack, but this one checks all the boxes! It’s cute, durable, a great size, and can be used for easy or difficult day hikes. I am a small female (5’4”, fit/muscular 140lbs, and wear S/M) and this fits me perfectly. Also, it really helps to use the hip straps for better weight distribution. I also love the water bladder since it’s comfortable than carrying bottles, stays cold, as is more environmental as a bonus. I am able to pack a full water pack, lunch, snacks, a small first aid kit, some thin rope, a poncho, other small essentials, and still have room to shove my jacket in the outside pocket if I get too warm. This pack has been used for many strenuous hikes and still looks and performs like new! Highly recommend it!

Amazon Customer: Bought this item to use for a 5 day hiking trip in Peru. This pack was the perfect size for this longer hike. It fit everything needed to get through the day (extra layers, snacks, sunscreen, etc) even with the bladder fully filled. I loved all the compartments to keep things organized. I also used the pack for travelling to and from Peru. I had it so full that I could barely zipper it, but it was very durable. I used it as my personal item when flying, so it was great to have something that could hold a lot, but not be charged as a carry on. Even when full, it was very comfortable on my back. I was also happy with the bladder. Once rinsed out it did not have a plastic smell. It was easy to fill, did not leak, and was easy to drink out of. It was also the perfect size to make it through the whole day, and not being too heavy when full. Only complaint would be there are not side straps to hold hiking poles that are not being used that other hiking packs have. Overall I was very impressed with this pack for the price paid.

Darice Ingram: Bought this for local hiking. It was the star of my trip to israel for 14 days in 103 F and up weather. It’s roomy and not very heavy! My water stayed ice cold all day into the evening 6-7 pm after filling with ice and water at 6 am
