biochemkris: I purchased this to replace a metal handle that snapped. I hoped wood would be more sturdy, but this doesn't feel like it's going to last any longer than the metal handle it replaced. I can feel the wood flexing when I need to really put in some elbow grease on a tough-to-remove spot. The handle really needs to be at least a quarter inch thicker in diameter so it has more rigidity. However, if you are looking for a lightweight, light duty, handle this will do the job. I would prefer something heavier, intended for commercial use.

Kyle Gregory: I am so impressed with the price of this mop. Every single mop I’ve bought from Walmart or the dollar stores in the last five years has broken within two months. It’s an evitable. I wanted to try something industrial that I have used personally. You will not believe how good of a price they have on these here and the quality is not even worth talking about it. Julie N. McDonald: This is an old-fashioned, heavy-duty mop handle, used with the Rubbermaid heavy-duty string mop head. I've tried so many mops, and finally invested in this, the "real" thing. Work is so much faster, and mop head is easy to wash.

John S: I recently bought a hollow plastic mop, a supposedly high rated one, it folded in the first 30 minutes of use - broken. So I went back to wood. This is a great mop, easy to use and cheap but it too was just a tad bit too flimsy. I managed to crack it in first 2 hours of use. I duct taped it and am still using it. For the money its better than hollow plastic but should be a little thicker and sturdier for GUYS THAT MOP HARD.
