Arnold: Perfect for loose leaf tea. i use 16 oz cups so the measurement is just right for yerba mate, guayusa, sen-cha, genmai-cha, etc. I've tried other stainless steel 2tblspn scoops and although they work exactly the same, the aesthetics of this compact scoop are just better. The weight and slightly-curved handle feel good in the hand. It seems like a small thing, but this is a kitchen item that gets everyday use. After years of use, it still looks new. Very easy to clean. I ordered a second one, just in case i lose the first.

I have it in my travel supplies for coffee-on-the-go, anywhere I’m at~~ I used it a friend’s house today, in my ziploc bag was this measurer, coffee grounds, collapsible pour-over dripper, single serve creamers, filters, collapsible cup & tiny bottle of Torani syrup, all effortlessly portable~ just threw them in a bag and ran out the door! abycats: Had to order several of these coffee scoops just for aesthetics, but they're so much more. Thank goodness they're the more usable two tablespoon size, rather than one. And, of course, they're shiny and easy to clean stainless steel. But what you can't tell until one is in your hand is how they fit your hand. Your fingers are close to the scoop bowl so you have firm control, but far enough away so you can see the contents to adjust them. The odd-looking handle feels good in your hand. I'm someone always looking for the Best gadget. In this area, I've found it. Love using this scoop. Only downside is if you coffee is close to running out and you have a deep container. Then your hand may actually have to contact coffee (horrors) as you reach in. Doesn't bother me, but it might you. In general tho, this scoop adds nicely to the experience of preparing your coffee. You'll enjoy having one. Buy.

Random Amazon Customer: This is a solid coffee scoop worth buying. I first found this coffee scoop on the Amazon app as a recommendation and didn't seriously think about buying it, because who buys coffee scoops online? However, I was looking for a second coffee scoop exactly this size and hadn't been able to find one at any of the grocery stores I usually shop, so I thought it was convenient to find one available on Amazon without searching. Nonetheless, once it arrived I was impressed with its craftsmanship, and I'm not somebody fond of using that term. What makes it so great? The thickness of the stainless steel. One of the other reviewers described it as being made out of thick stainless steel, which I didn't think anything about, however once I got to hold the coffee scoop with my own hands I noticed a solid feel to it that my current coffee scoop lacked. As far as how well it scoops coffee, you can find most any spoon in you kitchen to help you do that, however if you looking for something with a solid feel, which will last for years, than look no further.
