Uma Papaya: Dance mat really doesn’t have you ‘upbeat’ dance, but ‘step’ on the lit up figure on the ‘control’ box,. 6 year old thinks it’s great, but gifting grandma (me) was disappointed:(

Sam: Well, it is more nostalgic for the parents that actually were born during the time with Dance Revolution DDR was a thing. Though, it is a great way to introduce the new generation to what we use to play when we were kids! Very interactive toy for the family.
Of course, you pay for what you get, the mat quality is very basic, good enough for the kids. Though they have a limited amount of "tunes," gets a little repetitive over time.
I wish they were actually "songs" instead of "tunes" but, overall SHE LOVES IT!
