Patricia: I ordered this oil for my husband. He has tried SOOO many different oils and they all left him with an oily look/feel and a residue on his hands that never seemed to want to go away. This oil absorbs into the skin like it should and Sandalwood smells great too!!!
He’s just started using it, but so far we both love it. For reference: he’s pairing it with the beard wash and balm of the same brand/scent as well.

Gaston Lagaffe: I love the smell of sandalwood, and pre growing a beard, I loved loading up my badger-hair brush with Taylors Sandalwood shaving soap for a straight-razor shave. So it’s nice to get that scent on my face again now that I’ve not shaved in a couple of years.

That said, I’m not fully convinced that this oil is actually doing anything for my beard. It still feels as dry and scraggy as it did before I started using the oil, and I’ve noticed that I’ve started getting a lot of acne erupting beneath the beard - a sign that it’s at least making my skin oily.

I’ll stick with it until it’s finished, just to see if there’s any cumulative conditioning effect - mainly because that scent wins me over. I’m also giving it 4 stars rather than 3 purely because ending the day and still catching a whiff of sandalwood as I drift off to sleep is worth it for the relaxation effect alone!

Zaine D. Hedge: Took a gamble on a new beard company after losing faith in the one I used to use. This beard oil is top notch. Only need 2-3 drops max for a small beard (about 1 to 1.5 inches at longest points). Scent is strong on application but subtle after rubbing it in. Really moisturizes the skin and gives the beard a healthy sheen that doesn't look wet, or gross. Works best after beard washing and conditioning. I'm African-American and it's fantastic even on my extra curly and coarse beard. Use it. It's good for you :)

iNiko: Initially I was a bit sceptical about the sandalwood scent as it is a very strong scent that can smell off and unappealing to most. However, after trying this one out I am now a huge fan of the scent.

The oil comes with the dropper bottle where it’s kept in limited contact to air and outside contaminants; thus, keeping the oil clean and fresh and potent. The scent is quite strong as I am expecting but after using this for sometime I took quite the liking to it. I usually use this on my beard when i'm staying in at home as not to offend anyone at work. This oil keeps my beard nourished, healthy and strong. I also noticed my beard growth has increased with thick robust lucks. I strongly recommend this to anyone wanting a full healthy beard.

Note - For work I opt for the cedar scent as it's easier on the nose and most people tend to appreciate the scent more. Also as a proud and patriotic Canadian I recommend Rocky Mountain Barber Company for making authentic well made products with natural ingredients for men.

Robert Henn: I love this beard oil! I've tried several brands and this is my favorite. It makes my beard nice and soft. The scent is perfect. It's not overbearing...just enough to make you feel fresh and clean. My girlfriend loves it too!
I gave a friend a hello kiss on the cheek the other day, and they immediately complimented my on how good I smelled. I told them it was my beard oil... Guess what they are getting their boyfriend for XMAS!?

Ok, leaving the depression behind, I'll try to play "beard cupid" so that your beard and this oil can hook up...

I've tried "Viking Revolution" beard oil in two forms...Unscented and Sandalwood...The first was garbage, and the second was nice smelling garbage...Besides any scent involved, both contained Argan oil and Jojoba oil, and that's it...That is the ingredient list in most beard oils, and that's why most beard oils are useless...The "Viking Revolution'" oils are also thin as water...This is a negative, not a positive...They were too weak to do anything of significance...This is not all talk and speculation...I gave these oils a very fair, unbiased, and lengthy trial...Therefore the verdict was justified...

Another one I tried was "Smooth Viking" beard oil...A bit better, with a longer list of useful ingredients and thicker consistency...I used it for months and was fine with it because I added balm to it...Overall it's decent, but no scent...

Hell with it...Fast forward to a month ago, and...
