JayJay: A lot of these bits are very rough and they look like cast iron. They are absolutely not tungsten, the whole bit is made entirely of one cast metal. Some of them are not true or centered at all, some (most) of the cutting edges are dull or jagged. The 20 bit set was missing an 18mm and had two 20mm. One 20mm was badly deformed and unusable. Is it worth the money? Depends what you're using them for, but I'll be buying better ones from home depot now that I can shop in store.

Mike: I was looking to add a couple new forstner bits to my new drill press collection when I ran across this listing. Looking at the price and the number of bits I thought I'd give it a try, I thought they'd be cheaply made and I'd have to replace them in short order, but I am very happy to be wrong on this one! They're very well made, they came individually packaged, each in it's own plastic bag within their own individual plastic box. Only thing is, they're not labeled with imperial measurements, so I got out my digital calipers and measured each one. These, each and every one of them, are exact to a thousandth of an inch. May be more, but that's as close as my measuring devices will measure. If you're doing work that needs better accuracy then you're not doing it by hand anyway. So, long winded way to say, great value, price and so far, dependability. Couldn't be happier with this purchase, would buy again, and already have recommended, and will continue to do so.

Jim O.Jim O.: No, they don't come in a box, they don't show a box and i didn't expect a box. I did however build this simple stand out of 3/4 scrap stock in about 30 min. The shanks do very in size but if your always mounting them in a 3 jaw chuck who cares. The size of the bit is either indicated on the head or the shank of the bit. My guess is that they came out different shops in China. At a 1.50 each this is a great deal. In the past I have paid 25.00 for a single Freud bit, hope this helps.
