Granna: We purchased this clock a year ago and it already won't work. The clock itself works but the vibration dial won't work and that's what we bought it for. This is for my husband, who is hearing impaired and needs the vibration to wake him up. Very disappointed that I now have to buy a new one.

maddie: I am an extremely heavy sleeper so I needed something that’d wake me up. The bed shaker didn’t do anything because I had placed it under the mattress but I discovered putting it under my pillow is more effective. The alarm is not that loud I’ll be honest. I have regular alarms that are louder than this one. But I will say the separate alarm feature is convenient since I need multiple to get me up.

Lantern Photography: Update 10/28/22: I bought a white one to replace the blue one, I have trouble reading the blue one from far away because of the color. The white one is the same except for the color, but also the numbers are much larger than they were on the blue clock, taking up pretty much all of the space of the front of the clock. I'm not complaining, but I am surprised that it is so much bigger than they were with the blue clock. I solved the problem of the alarm not working if the power goes out by running the clock off of a solar panel and battery, the solar charge controller has a USB port , and this Arrangement has been working well for months. I also removed the two backup batteries, since they appear to be useless, and I'm using them in other devices. In my original review I mentioned the joke of an instruction manual, I actually forgot that it did not come with an instruction manual until I reread my original review, this is because once you figure out the clock, it is very easy to use. The screen can be dimmed, the alarm volume can be changed, and it will display full military time or a.m. and p.m. time.
