My door panel slides down and it mushes the foam over the cone of my speaker causing distortion. Might be great if you're pushing a panel directly over it and not having to slide down on the panel. Removed from my vehicle. And know, if you stick them, they don't remove easily, it leaves little foam bits stuck everywhere so you definitely can't adjust them or reuse them.

Randy Wright: I was kind of skeptical at first about these. Watch many videos online about how well the product improves the sound. Very easy to install and what a difference. I installed these on my Hertz 5x7's in my Mazda, I'm glad I did

Daniel A. Januszko: This item was delivered in perfect condition. I liked that it fits great, and most importantly, made a 70% positive improvement that was surprising! This certainly improves midbass without added distortion. It completely fit behind the window track in a 2002 Ford Explorer. No modification necessary there. The Pioneer D series speakers I have now have a flat response. Prior to installation there was a mmsevere dip in the upper and lower midbass response. I was expecting a small improvement, but whoa! Don't pass these up if you have the chance.

SawyerSawyer: I installed this kit in my 2013 F-150 FX4 Crew Cab pickup. I was upgrading the stock Sony speakers and decided to give this product a try because I had experienced rattling in the doors with the stock speakers. It's hard to say if the this kit really helped the sound out that much because I was installing newer better speakers but the rattling has gone away and the sound is night and day difference. I had to do some trimming on the rear foam piece to get it miss the window when it was rolled down. Overall, I recommend this kit but it's probably a little overpriced for some foam.

gonzoe123: Fast rings should be a requirement for anyone installing speakers. The difference is significant. Just be careful and check if you need to trim the pieces to fit your car and speakers. If you dont trim the "plug" and/or back ring, they may interfere with the window. If you dont trim the outer ring, it may get crushed by the door panel and roll into the speaker. Look up Five Star Car Stereo on YouTube if you want a better explanation.
