Laura: The songs are clever and fun and the little ones love to sing along.

Elizabeth S.: I have several Sandra Boynton books and albums, and I love all of them! I loved them for my own children (they are past this age bracket), but I also love them for my classroom students (I am a music educator).

4annie: Few things beat having a couple of grandkids in the back seat singing along to "Oh, Lonely Peas or Bad Babies." They really like having the songbook to follow along...and seeing the musical scores. We'd visited the local library and checked out one of Sandra Boynton's other CD's/songbooks and liked it so well, I bought a copy and then bought this one, too.
It should be in every grandparent's "toolbox." You will be as delighted as the grandchildren. And, yes, I've been known to belt out a couple of songs along with them.

noli: Nice album, but we like Philadelphia Chicken, Dog Train and Frog Trouble better.
Among the 4 albums, Philadelphia Chicken is our favorite.

Amy Kannel: This CD is golden at our house--and especially in our car. My one-year-old son absolutely loves it; he can be whining and screaming while we're on the road, and as soon as we put in "his" CD, he immediately stops--no joke. He whines between songs, apparently afraid we've turned it off.
The best part is, my husband and I enjoy it, too. The lyrics are endlessly clever and the music is really well done--not the annoying type of kids' music you expect when you hear "kids' music." The only downside is the way the songs run through our head constantly, but that's to be expected when you listen to it as often as we do.
We have and will continue to give this one as a gift. Definitely recommended.

Max: Our 3-year-old and 7-year-old adore this and we have listened to the CD (ours is a CD - the previous reviewer must have got a really old copy from somewhere) sooooooo many times. The music is really well done, it's got a wonderful and mad sense of humour but I'm afraid it's true, you will NOT get these songs out of your head!

Marlene Wulf: The Boynton/Ford team can’t be beat! This is their first album and they hit a home run on their first try. I have Philadelphia Chickens and Dog Train and love them both and needed more Boynton/Ford songs to sing along with. And Rhinoceros Tap hit that nail on the head! I find myself constantly singing songs from this, and their other albums. Btw, I’m a 58 yo woman with no kids so don’t think you need children to enjoy these songs! Their later albums might be a little more polished and have big name singers, but this one is just as witty, fun, and seriously silly as any that came after!
